  2. First you need a plan then some mechanical knowledge, if not sure, take to your dealer. ATB PV.
  3. As Stealthy says, get it checked at your dealer. He should chrono it and compare it to what it should be, then go on from there.
  4. Unless you've had it cocked for long periods of time between shots I doubt it. Get a powerlok spring, V-Mach supply them, or get a V-Mach (formerly Venom) kit through Blackpool airguns. http://www.airgunbuyer.com/ make sure it's the 12ft/Ib kit. ATB PV.

  10. I think not, what makes you think this...there are some (many) shoots where they are frowned on, but nothing illegal...you can perfectly legally shoot a game bird with a rifle if you want as well!! Im a keeper on a grouse moor and carry a gun in the line when there;s to many birds left at the end of the season. i used to carry my auto untill two different knowledgable head keepers told me this. You can only shoot game with a rifle if you have it down on your cetificate. You can only shoot whatever it says on your FAC, but there is nothing illegal about shooting a game bird with
  11. If I remember rightly Bolty this is the Lakeland I saw when I picked up Jack, one of your Russell pups, if it is then the photo's don't do it justice, this dogs a cracker . All the best with the sale Bolty. Dar.
  12. I think £400+ for a good secondhand Sako finnfire is a good investment, most people have a 22rf in there cabinet and when you think of cost per years of use you would get out of a Sako for me it's a no-brainer, I have a Finnfire varmint which I bought new, one of the last few around and I have to say I can't fault it. ATB PV.

  16. Yes, leave set at zero, this angle change will give the true distance to the target, above or below horizontal reduces the true distance,(corrected for gravity) type in your bullet weight, coefficient, available from the manufacturers web site, the muzzle velocity, my .308 hits about 2700fps with 155's, experiment with the wind speed, target speed should be zero. Have fun, PV. P.S. http://www.snipertools.com/aci.htm

  18. Hoping to cut down the barrel on my Finnfire varmint to 18in, recrown and screw cut (easier handling), and get my Sako 75 ss/varmint screw cut and get AU S5 moderator, as soon as funds are available.
  19. Deker, I started with a mates BSA meteor, then a Relum Tornado underlever that I was given @ about 14 years old, moved onto a BSA mercury, then a webley vulcan, my brothers ASI statical (recoiless) and even though I've got a shotgun, rimfire and centrefire rifles, I'll always have room for an air rifle, at the moment a HW95k in .22 ATB PV.
  20. Easy Hit Fibre Optic Bead. Has anybody used this ? and is it as good as it's claimed to be ? My eye dominance has changed and I'm now cross dominant (right handed, left eye dominant). Is it worth investing in one of these? Cheers PV.
