  1. I'd be taking the valve out and having a look (once the bottle Is empty!) It could just be some shit or something stuck In the valve. I've never had the valve out and don't know the ins and outs of them so can't helps any more. Are you on R7OC? If you are, try asking on there. I'm sure someone will know for sure.
  2. It would still leave me needing new keks If something blew I was getting the best fittings kit anyway Scuba - I wouldn't call It cheap but It saves me messing around with spanners everytime I come to fill the different guns / bottle combos. I managed to pick up the 1/4 to 1/8 connector for only a couple of quid. I still don't know for sure that's what i need but It sounds about right
  3. Ditto. Is It filling with air then and just not firing or what? Mine has stuck open after taking It off the rifle and after filling but usually easy enough to fix.
  4. Cheers mate. I'm not bothered about skimping on price. When there's 200 bar or so going through them a few extra quid I will gladly pay for piece of mind. I think I'll get the best fittings kit and the rest of the stuff from BAR.
  5. I'm new too using bottles but can't see them being all the much harder to use. The bottle does indeed need a test. He said It was last done In 02 so It's gone In at a cost of nearly 40 quid and that's assuming It doesn't need blasting Think i should of just replaced the seals In my pump
  6. Cheers mate. I was hoping It was still In test but aslong as It paases I'm not too fussed. There Is another engraving On It. It mentions 02 so even then It will be out of test but does the hydro test get engraved in to the tank or just a sticker put on?
  7. Thanks Micheal. Good to know that It'll only need testing every 5yrs. Now just need to get the threads and test date sorted and I'll be well on my way
  8. Just got myselft a bottle that came with another gun I bought and I havn't a clue about bottles I know It's a 300 bar one but where can I find the test date? It has 00/07 stamped on the collar so I'm taking a guess that that Is the born date? Aparently It's pritty new anyway and there is no other stickers of test dates on It. Is the valve on the bottle a surface type or am I gonna have to go get It tested every 2.5 yrs? Here's where the bottle screws into (a rapid bottle) What reducer do I need so I can put a hose on? Once the hose Is on I'll put a quick connector on so I can swa
  9. Nice rifle Zini. You done much to It and what's the accuracy like? I've got the storms little brother the stealth but hardly anything Is stock on it now It shoots well but Is temperamental.
  10. Looks good fun WJ allthough at nearly 35 miles I doubt I could hack It
  11. Ive got some combat GTX's but with this thread being in the for sale section I thought th OP was selling them
  12. I thought It was funny - the rednecks reaction
  13. How much you selling them for then?
  14. "I think I had that swine flu"
  15. You shouldn't need a rod to assemble the silencer. The baffles should be a tight fit against the inside of the tube thus eliminating any chance of them being thrown into the line of fire. That other silencer looks too high tec for me, probably expensive too being ceramic. Also with It being ceramic It wouldn't last me long. In my line of work I deal with ceramic alot and the amount of times I've smashed or cracked It Is unreal Have you tried the silencer again after singeing all the strands off? Any luck with better accuracy?
  16. If you have the use of another silencer with flat washers In give that a try. It will be easy to see then where It is clipping allthough you may ruin a washer or 2. Check the end cap too for grey scuffs. You havn't or anyone else hasn't dropped the rifle or done anything to throw the silencer off center? Perhasp the adaptor Is bent slightly which In turn Is putting the silencer slightly on the piss?
  17. I'd say drilling the centers bigger will render the silencer less effective. TBH those washers don't look right to me although there all bent the same way so you could be correct saying It's supposed to be like that or you have just put so many pellets through the rifle with It clipping It's nailed all the washers! If you have fired decent groups with the silencer off It has to be the silencer causing the problems. Re-assemble It and look through for any fibres etc that the pellet will catch on. If you get a good lighter with a long flame that will usually singe all of them back but obviou
  18. So is killing mice with dogs isn't it?
  19. I just buy cheap ones now. A tenner every few month Isn't bad considering expensive ones last me a similar time.
