  7. Had a whippet a few years back that was red hot on them, he was a big whippet tho stood nearly 22" and built like a brick shithouse, was kc reg tho out of lord of the night to a laguna bitch, very strong dog and was very hard mouthed on all prey, loved a scrap took them single with no problems. also had a bitch who was a lot lighter and smaller who loved em but was nowhere near the size to do em alone without taking punishment, i used to use her on a few fox drives to run any pricked foxs that ran she was clever and always took a neck hold and stood back out of the way till I got to her. great

  12. hi all just been out for a mooch with dogs tonight ,my stepdaughters border bitch had a funny turn like a fit ,not nice she was shaking falling over seemed to lose her co-ordination. This happened twice within an hour. The first time she ever did it was on a very hot day in summer out on a walk, which I put down to heat exhaustion. I dropped her in a water troff to cool her down which seem to work. Obviously not hot today at all so I'm quite worried. All help appreciated. Cheers

  16. a good whippet ,alot of folk after a 1st x saluki /whippet should have no probs selling pups, my bitch is whippet x 3/4saluki/ghd and she takes everthing fast. i used a non ped ,but there are some good peds out there too, use a bigish whippet though
  17. nice pack are the offspring any better than the parents workwise ?i have been out with ss whippets and 1x beddy/whips ,but not with a 3/4bred what are the difference s thanks 'barnslyben' the offspring are very good workers use them mainly daytime they go to cover like terriers ,nice strong feet, and lighting quick i do use them on the lamp, run them on turf growers land these dogs can motor , i think there has fast as a whippet but with better feet and faster than the 1st cross bedlington , the 1st cross they can and do yap when in hot pursuit , my 3/4 whippet 1/4 bedlingtons dont .........
  18. nice pack are the offspring any better than the parents workwise ?i have been out with ss whippets and 1x beddy/whips ,but not with a 3/4bred what are the difference s
  19. i would go 3/4whippet every time ,the choice is yours for what the 1/4 is made up from, beddy ,collie ect .my bitch is an exellent hunter, but has very thin skin and feels the cold alot, you are far more likely to get a smoother coat on the 3/4 bred
