cheers, igo to blidworth wrc a lad there has ss whippets and he races, works them very pro ped but has just mated his bitch to rch vivs quest should be good pups best of both worlds maybe?

Hi all.. I am a Newbie to this sight, but not to running dogs, My Dad used to own and race bwra non ped whippets in the 70's these were fantastic little speed merchants + excellent workers on rat rabbit hare and fox. I have had a few lurchers all been pretty good dogs my most recent is a 3/4 saluki x ghd she is 6 now, past her prime but when she was younger she was a good all round dog taking rat rabbit hare and fox. last year i decided to breed her to a whippet and a friend who owns 2 sooty sam whippets said to me if you put your bitch to glen mikes stud dog i will have a pup off you. but

hi ,i have a 6 yr old 3/4 saluki xghd bitch good hare dog pre ban. last yr i bred her with a ch non ped whippet ,hoping to produce a small fast rabbiting dog, i think whippets are great dogs but wanted one with that extra gear when needed.the bitch i kept back is 7mths old and caught her first rabbit 1 week ago.i am also training her at blidworth to race for a bit of fun.she is 28lb and 20"tts at the mo

Hi all, my interests are mainly running dogs, shooting, ratting, ferreting, whippet racing at blidworth, i am 39 years old and live with my beautiful partner on her parents farm in Long Bennington, Newark, Notts. Its a 600 acre farm, i no im very lucky! I have full permission to shoot lamp.
