  1. Is the username doubling as a description of the pups aswell....thought only folk from yorkshire were that thrifty.
  2. I make that 9/16 collie so a we bit less collie than 5/8, sound like they might make handy curs. Any pics of sire and dam mate......genuinely interested.
  3. ffs please research how to use properly before even putting one near the dog What if all else fails mushroom? I get what you're saying mate...But this is a pretty bad case here where a mature dog has not only started chasing but has already nailed one sheep. Course you.shouldn't be over hard on a dog for every small thing..but this is no small thing...it's the dogs last chance. Pet home or pts.
  4. Collie grey for me.....if you put the time in. Depends if you get on with em, not for everyone. They learn fast, good habits and bad! If the dogs gonna be in kennel all day I'd go for a whip/grey...collie x 's can go a bit daft without plenty stimulation. Collie/whip/grey same to be quite popular these days, great wee rabbiting dog mix.
  5. One on pre-loved now mate 3/4 grey 1/4 deer, 4 month old, dog pup....Cardiff
  6. Is he a beardie cross mate? Good result for him, nice to get some early sucess.
  7. Dogs a credit mate, obviously a lot of time and effort put in
  8. Dog might just be a bit frustrated mate watching the other dogs run the beam, you can do too much of that I reckon, pups just getting bored and looking for a way into to the action maybe?? Best of luck mate anyhow.
  9. Bonny lass she is mate, looks like she's coming on a treat....best of luck with her. Really liking the look of these cur types, make a lot of sense in this day and age. Just out of curiosity, how much sighthound in the mix?
  10. You're right mate killing is killing, but for me there's a difference between having some reverence for the life you've taken and gratitude and respect for the meat you've gained.......and taking it for granted without a thought, like its just one more point scored in a game. There's nothing weak or 'wrong about that for me.......like I said we're men not machines.
  11. Killing is part of living, every living thing is food for something else.....but taking any life is a serious business to do it for kicks or sport...I dont understand. My lad came shooting with me the other day and we despatched a bunny the young lad handn't quite got a clean headshot on. He asked me if he was 'soft' to feel a 'bit sad' for the life he'd took...I said no I feel it every time son. Its not a Ps3 game, its real life....I'm a man not a machine.
  12. If you know what breeding 'casper' was I'll crunch the numbers.......for what its worth. Pm.
  13. Depends how much greyhound mate, is yours bull grey x collie grey, first cross to first cross or was one/both sire and dam more greyhound in the mix? Could potentially be a good dog either way....just will make a difference how racy your pup turns out. 1st x collie greys can be lumps and even more so with 1st x bull grey...the two together...well it aint rocket science is it. Then again...one mans 'lump' is another mans ideal mooching type.
  14. Looks like a pure Belgian Malinois (dont mean it is) If its out of a lurcher dam then the sire's gonna be GSD I reckon. Does he catch owt? All that matters really....bonny dog either way pal.
