    i bought one of these kennels of this lad a year ago,for my whippet x and border terrier,still looks new ,very well built ,and strong ,my whippet x feels the cold abit but is well warm in this one. i bought the one with the internal windbreak i can recomend them atb BB

    i have a 3/4saluki/ghd x whippet 30lbs 21" coming up to 5 now ,brill bitch hunted rat to munty,the best ratter i have owned or seen, prey drive threw the roof , complete tunnel visioned killing machine .downside thin skin ,feels the cold. maybe a mix of the two could be idea ? BB

    so after all that you have you used your mates dog with a smooth coat :doh: sounds better than the border terrier cross i suppose, good luck with them never said i wanted to use a rough coated dog ,just one with thicker skin, fur, which this lad has, also this dog comes from london , my mate has been after the dog for a while ,afer hearing good things about it, hes had it about a week very impressed he is just so happens it on my doorstep now even better

    i think i might have found the one, went to watch him on a dig nice dog, he belongs to a mate, wheaton/whippet x whippet/ghd 21TTS very steady, hard,good coat ,feet ,ive put alot of time in looking for what i believe was the right dog to use, this lad fits the bill

    i would wait a while yet, a mate had one and it yapped on everything ,its from frustation ,what you need is some easy catches for the dog first, so it knows it can catch, build up its confidence first atbBB

    i would say yes, if bred right ie both parents doing it, not kill, hold untill help arrived ,a good whirrier, whippet x terrier will have a go at most things atb BB

    sorry i disagree with ducky poo most whippets that i know of are working bred,but a couple were show bred and still doing the biz ,its horses for courses depends what your into,what your land is like, but a well bred whippet will give you alot of sport,without the hassle off plod ,i don t own pure breds, but i go out with lads who do and i like whippets, game, jack of all trade dogs very easy to keep.its all down to what you like, at the end of the day atbBB
