  9. nice pack how are the whipps bred? I have 3 whippet lurchers mother and two 6mth old pups off her .a border terrier and a black lab not much gets missed by my pack lol
  10. We have a border bitch loverly bitch bought as a pet but i take her out will work most things great busher had her out today with five lurchers . Dont use her to ground but she will go if i let her . Bit of a slow starter but a little lion now so biddable too just a great dog to own atb BB
  11. Well the best time for me was todaywhen it was pi((ing down because we had 6 dogs out and your everyday dog walkers were not about we had some nice sport plenty about atb BB

  13. well said, anyone can apply and get a shotgun and without any training go out and shoot wild animals, wound maim, not right with a dog its dead or gets away ,and I used to shoot, its makes my blood boil ,its about the chase not the kill for me atb BB
  14. I HAD A BITCH SOME YEARS AGO whoops caps on, dam hancock 3/4ghd 1/4 collie x whippet awesome bitch 21" 34lbs killed r,r,h,f best nose on any dog I have had ,her mark was 100% some *unt pinched her atb BB
  15. just had to go back to page 1 to remember what the lad was asking I think a whippet would maybe suit his needs, to work with a terrier or perhaps a small type heavy whippet blooded whippet lurcher . a lot of fun to be had with this combo . almost any whippet will learn to work along side a terrier, some better than others sootysam lines are good and toughdogs, but I would go for a dog with a touch of something else in it ie terrier or collie atb BB

  17. well all my pups I have had got to freerun from an early age never did them any harm ,I think it makes them tougher building strong muscles ligaments, they know when they need to rest, and a squirrel don't run that far anyway. don't worry too much some other lads might comment on there thoughts on it atb BB
