You'll still have that number even if you were blagging it when they came out though .....and they are still wasting time when coming out and i thought the whole point in giving them a heads up was to stop wasting there time and your evening?? Surely a password would be better but they would have to make it compulsary for anyone lamping on permission had to notify the police before heading out. I've had my fair share from the police. You will never send the Harassment home. Reason being, they respond to peoples needs. If they turn up whilst your out lamping etc, I can bet my lambretta that they have received a call from the a member of the public. They will never disclose to you who called them. So who is harassing you? The police, or the member/s of the public for making the calls? Call from the public= Police attendance when practicable = Ruining your night, and yes lamps and equipment taking off you IF you cannot prove you have permission. If you call them and expl

Well done. I'm sure if all is in order you will get your belongings back. All this could be avoided if you call your station and make them aware you will be out lamping. This way you and them will not be wasting each others time. Think about it, no call to the police, they get a call from from member of public that they have seen powerful lights in the field, off they will come in numbers. You call them and make them aware, then they get a call, they would of already been made aware and not send any police over to investigate. Hassle free...

I knew of dogs that would take foxes single handed/paired up and kill each time. Now these are not dogs that were killing foxes every night, but were dogs that if a fox was put up in front of them would make the kill without no doubt.

I've been lamping at many different times of the morning and night, it varies. Crop plays a good part too. If I'm going with rifle to shoot foxes then just after dark I find is when they are out in numbers. With the dogs I normally head out at 10:30, but then it depends on how much ground I'm going to cover. I tend to find 3/4hrs is enough for me these days as I only lamp for the table, numbers do not interest me no more.

Studio band, wash your mouth out Foos at Milton Keynes this summer were fecking amazing, and the new album is pure quality Foos are weak live, they really are. You can always judge a band by their live performances, and for me they do not sound as powerful and most importantly not tight as a group as they are in a studio.

The Foos are ok as a studio band, I feel their drummer only gives 100% when playing live. Nirvana crucified both time after time.

Just be aware that some of these farms may have syndicates. I would stress to them that you will not get in their way, respect the boundaries, and pick up all your mess and rabbits. Maybe ask if you can work the land at the back end to get your foot in the door. All this helping around the farm does not wash with most of the farmers these days, however if you do get any permision then it would be kind to offer your help at harvest time. Good Luck....oh and don't tell people what you've got.
