  2. The amount of money would be major, and the miles I've covered attending invites, hunts, game fairs would be 1000's upon 1000's. I'd hate to think what I've spent at the vets before insurance was introduced

  5. Wrong, you cant be made to take a test, however if refused, and the boss so to speak believes you should be tested, then he has the right to disapline and take you through the occupational health for a test, and maybe sack you.
  6. ask socko, i mean hedz his missus found his an told all us
  7. What a strange question to ask. I'm sure when we were at that age most enjoyed a Tommy Tank, but as you get older you mature, and these activities become less frequent until you meet someone, then they feel even better. The feeling of someone elses hand wrapped around your tool gently tugging away is mystical, a free legal high, a sense of release and very personal.
  8. Wooooooooooooooooooooooomannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!
  9. Firstly you shouldn't add new birds to a flock, that is an easy way to spread any disease. Quarantine is a must. Keep them seperate for a few weeks, but near to your original flock, then release your new birds with them. Place extra feeders/ drinkers in the pen so your new birds get a good chance of eating and drinking if they get bulllied, which they will for a while. Just keep an eye out for blood and flesh showing as chickens can become real nasty. It's called pecking order...
  10. I'll set the rules.... I think £100 is a little cheap.....
  11. Knuckle draggers Simo told me he had model features......well....feck me! Pissy jeans, long ape like arms, hands longer than the A1, baldy slap head too Oh and he's wearing a camo jacket in the dark!
  12. That bitch was produced as simple as this: A good friend of mine is a sheppard and had a very good working collie dog, watching this collie work was poetry. The bitch again from a friend who races greyhounds had a nice bitch clocking up some good times, nothing out of this world, but good enough, so with a joint agreement we eventually managed to get the two to tie....and I mean eventually! She turned out a little cracker of a worker.
  13. Just dug some pictures out today and found this one. This was my Collie x Grey bitch, and the only bitch of any type I have owned and worked. Up to the age of 7 she was taking foxes, heavy population here and she took many a season, then she sustained an injury which caused me to stop her working.
  14. A very good thread here. Nevermind the looks, who needs world beaters, great reading. Some very good honest replies from PS22
  15. Seems a few of us did well regarding the poor weather conditions. Simo was that excited that he was having his photo taken that he dribbled...have a close look at his jeans.
  16. Correct Blonde, I may just add the licence did state, (not sure if it has been amended), that the user is allowed to cull feral pigeons to preserve the health and safety of the public if all other means are not practicable. I believe so...... Edited to say...just read your post Blonde, so it still remains the same then. Hawks during the day in London would not be wise, although some have and still use them including myself, and it can get messy.
  17. I have a tall boy here, deerhound cross, works the bins, cubboards, loves lying on his back to have a belly scratch. £350 fee.
  18. is there saluki in his make up at all very distinct mask he has.
  19. WTF have you done to your sons hair That dog must have beddy/whippet in him.
  20. You got a horse there Dotty. Large fields...
  21. Depends where your location is. Here I look North, east, south and west and I will see hares. That number taken by that chap's rifle would not see no difference here.
  22. Good gale here, hanging baskets and bins have blown into the next village. Perfect!
  23. You lot are really obsessed with hair
  24. Those are the two words that are key. If those two words have been fulfilled then I would agree with your comment.
  25. You cant beat a dog that is trained manners, i.e Kennel trained, House trained, pub trained, steady around all sorts of people, stock and dogs, a dog that no matter where you take it it remains quiet. I can take these two scrotes anywhere and they will just find a place to snuggle down on and sleep. Then on the flip slide I have dogs that work to my required standards, catch the odd something or two which makes me happy.... Best of both worlds there eh! Culling a litter no problem, culling a nuisance/dangerous dog no problem, one that does not work or fit in for what ever reason then re-
