  2. Yes mate there is 8 inches of mot and then there are paving slabs laid loose on top. I have a tree stump thats concreted in the middle but before it was just planted in the ground but the litle buggers were digging down and gettin under the slabs so I had to concrete it all round. The slabs are not pointed in they are just butted up because it allows for water to drain away when i jet wash the run which is about once every two months although the run is cleaned out and wahsed down by hand where they go to toilet every single day rain or shine
  3. I have read every post here Tiny Tim and I feel genuine sorrow for you mate, reading your recount of her pulled at my heart strings. I hope that the great memories that you have of her will make the grief you are suffering now easier to cope with.
  4. I think that bloke in the video is a pervert
  5. I went out yesterday in the pouring rain on a new bit of permission ive got. Its an orchard with dwarf apple trees and the rabbits have been climbing up in the branches and stripping the bark. The rabbits were very hard to bolt and had to dig out 8 but manged to get 18 in total and the land owner was as pleased as punch an even kept on bringing us cups of coffee and biscuits. so a greta day in the end even if i was soaking wet an covered in mud
  6. i will propabply be after some nylon ones as im on budget troble is not many people i talk to take me seriosly as im young any help appreciated cheers were abouts u based rob hello pirate im in bedfordshire and will have some kits in the summer
  7. if you think about it is the same with dogs most dogs are fine but every now and again you get a biter so the same train of thought must be right for ferrets
  8. look for rabbit runs, earth disturbance, rabbit poo, they like to be in cover for extra security but they can also be found out in the open. Take some binoculars with you when you are out so you can watch where they run to if you spot them. But you must also be able to tell the differance between a badgers sett a fox earth and a rabbit warren
  9. im not if its too bad for them outside they stay in simple as that. The flooring on the outside is the wood bark so its easy to keep clean it has tubes in there for them half a tree for them to climb and branches for them to climb all over
  10. top notch that [bANNED TEXT] take it you got a inside section for them in the shed ...do you need one if there boxes for em yes mate the inside of the shed is divided up so it gives them a 4ft x 4ft inside area which has their food and sleeping quarters. The remaining area is used for my nets and their feed, disinfectant etc etc
  11. buy yourself an aviary magazine they will have suppliers of the wire in there i got mine from a bird auction it cost me £25 for 50 metres the shed cost me £85 from focus and the wood was collected by my father in law whos a builder Ive also got another one coming next week that is a kennel with a run that a mate no longer uses im going to link the 2 with flexi tubing. I've got to make a few minor adjustments to it but it will be excellent for more of the little blighters
  12. Ive used mine all season and once you get used to the features it is totally brilliant much better than the mk1
  13. Seems a nice neat site
  14. The hobs will soon be coming in to season now so she probably dosent enjoy being jumped on by a stranger and he sees her as a possible mate the jills are a couple of months away from coming in . Just keep an eye on them that he's not trying to rag hell out of her and making her really sore around the neck. My hobs starting to take an interest in my jills now too. One other thing is you will have to get another cage because when they have mated you will have to split them up because she might reject the litter and he will still try to mate her .....Good luck whatever you decide to do
