How about trying to get hold of a "failed" earth dog? With their good nose and busy nature im sure any terrier will be ok for flushing bunnies...

Great story and pics, thats what its all about....did you see any midges in the woods. I was out over the weekend and there was loads of the little buggers trying to feed off me.

sorry, but you will have to wait. my advice would be to get out and find the foxes.... you wont catch many sat in front of the computer all day old chap.... personally, if i were as unsuccessful as you in the field then i would have taken up golf or racing pigeons a long time ago. 10/10 for sticking in there. You have my greatest respect.lol :11: :11: :11: You have had an issue about that terrier book since it came out. I remember you slagging it on smoochers, i wouldnt mind if you actually worked your terriers to ground, but unfortunately you dont. i may send you one for review ..

sorry mate, but only those that actually WORK their terriers are included.....if you start to dig over ten a season then yes, i will consider it. i think that is a fair statement dont you think? the next one is practically done

Its shame they brought out the MK2 without proper testing. Deben thought they were invincible and held a hold on the market, but i am so glad when B&F came out...serves them right i say....they should have upgraded the terreir finders years ago and invested in some serious upgrades making the collars and boxes waterproof and much more reliable.

i hear that "McCoy" was something else.....big and strong and yet an out and out bayer....worked only in the biggest, baddest earths and got results...capable of multiple digs in the day to quarry that was always let go....i never saw the dog work, but love hearing those tales about him and his owner.....

no, the kodiak is a huge brown bear....the grizzly is a smaller brown bear that is defined as a grizz, by its geographical location... Although they are one and the same, they are, in fact, different is size and distribution.....the kodiak is of a different sub species as the brown and the grizz....

EErrmmm... i dont think thats a grizzly... looks more like a kodiak Brown to me...biggest bear in the world..
