Only this morning, very very early we were asked to use our dogs to track shot deer . Tarmacs Murphy did real good, and tracked two CWD, the first one he ever seen and the dog did great. I was quite impressed. In times gone by we would have ran them , but these had all been shot with a rifle first.... :ph34r: :ph34r: scoob got lucky again and tracked a credible four/four you cant beat working a lurcher in conjunction with a rifle on great permission, early morning

got to agree with snelly....better to die in their familiar surrounding i guess. The method of use is immaterial really as long as the dog is killed instantly, and what is more humane than a gun? Sorry to hear it LB.... hope things get back to normal asap......

the terrier world is full of pricks trying to rip everyone else off! i know of a litter recently sold locally to some guys a long way away as "100% parks breeding" when they werent. The dog used is a useless thing that has had about 4 foxes and will not leave an earth, it bays at nothing and so its silly owner trenches all the spots, and the m other of the pups is a tiny little bitch that has never been to ground. From what i can gather the pups will be 1/4 parks bloodlines..... i feel sorry for the poor lads who bought them!!

Very good pics mate. always hard to get pics of moving critters especially ones as little as rabbits. Great action shots and that dog looks like it knows a net well....looking good....will you be using it on quarry other than rabbit, or not? looks easily powerful enough to do the full spectrum of quarry

yes mate, you go for it! everyone is entitled to make mistakes in their lives. there is a very good chance of getting a shotty licence, as long as you have good reason ...and you do have.... go for it! -
