All dogs have differnt [level's of stamina].? It dont matter how its bred, if it keeps doing this, and its ok in every other way, and its quite fit.Then this is its [level], some dogs can run 30-40 in a night, and some 20-25 in a night.? It comes down to each dog,some will always have bit better wind than another.Fact?

Went with jim +shave, had a real hard night lamping.The weather was crap again very[foggy],Most were all long slips [-150yds], it was hard to keep the rabbits in beam. slap: The tally was [39] Bryn got [22] Snipe [17],and they did well to fekin get them. Alot were like small hares [very fast],and took alot of catching Thumbsup: When we stopped lamping, we decided to keep in the car. You wanna get yourself one of these It dont matter what dog you get really, because if it bite anybody, you would be in the trouble.All you need is a dog to make noise,GSD WILL MAKE A NOISE and the rep of them most of joe-public would stay clear.Another a GSDx... if you want healthy type dog ,not to a [grey] because you might still get the soft nature come through GSD=collie,still healthy but can still be nasty as some farm collie' can be right twats.??

Yes, do people [really] have the [time+work] for [2] dogs. Its ok saying if one gets hurt, i have the other dog.But ive had dogs [yes] some seem to get hurt very quick, and then ive some dogs can go all season and never get hurt.? And another [big problem] is you will always favour one dog more than the other it just happens, so you tend to work that dog [more] than the other fact. And i think one dog will [bond] 100% to you, than having 2 dogs. This the 1st time ive had 1 dog, most times i used to keep 2 dogs.And it i think its alot better. Thanks Tomo, Both Snipe +Bryn give120% on what ever you put them on. Snipe 9year old is just Brill, and just hope Bryn will=can keep it up. If he his as good as Snipe at his age i will more than happy.

Went out with jim,had great night even in crap weather [foggy]. Bryn [27 from 36 runs] Brill, Snipe [31 from 36 runs] Brill =[58] rabbits. Snipe is great dog, he dont miss much,and i have said before at [9]years old is very fit and great stamina class act. Bryn done great he seems to get better+better,his strike+agilty+stamina is Brill. .I hope he is as good as snipe at that age.???? With the bad condition's [thick fog] ,hard to see the rabbits at times. I feckin walked in to conifer Bush, and got jabbedin the feckin eye. .The eye was feckin sore . Good point, most dogs that have gone in [ice] normally are ok ,even they have been in for 10 mins.But a person in that time, would be in Big trouble. I saw it one year when i was beating, a lab chased a pheasant [runner ] right into feckin pool . It took us 4 blokes [15]mins to get it out, we were wet+froze. The dog rubbed down with a towel, and happy to go in again . Dont forget dogs are alot tougher with cold+wet than humans will ever be. So when+if a dog goes in [dont panic] right away??? -

This one was, 26in 70lb. Once he got the knack of killing them [3-4] then any fox after was dead, he would shake the shit out of them. [This was in late 80s]

With some lurchers [if] they catch alot of rabbits [20-30 ] per night 2-3 nights a week they can get sick of it.Some will just kill where they catch it, and drop it there.? And as well its not natural with lurchers,as most have a good %of running dog in them.And they are bred to chase+kill, not like gundogs=labs,ss,....bred to carry.? Collie xs will retrieve, but even them get sick of it. Bryn how hard do you work your dog,? once a dog dont want to retrieve, you carnt make it [fact]

I personally always choose dogs. I find that bitches can be a bit too headstrong and have a tendancy to work by their own rules. Dogs are far more biddable and submissive although they can be a bit more on the stupid side and require a bit more patience in the training stages. Yep,
