  1. I have one coming up 3 year old and will be buying the same again when I'm ready for a new one. I use mine every day for towing and going off road and it's never missed a beat which I can't say about the ford ranger it replaced or the 2 navara's before that,(d22 and d40).
  2. the best 17hmr in my opinion is the anschutz, put a good quality vari scope on it and you,ll be laughing
  3. shite mate got stuck in one were others went no probs hilux or diahatsu decent tyre,s and they,ll go anywhere a hilux, nissan or mitsubishi will,i,ve had all 4 and the rangers the only one i,ve still got!look on any site about car reliabilty and you,ll mazda at the top or very near to it and they build the rangers for ford! mazda bt50 and ford ranger basically same vehicle just different badges

  5. i,ve got a 09 thunder and like it better than the navara it replaced, better seating, more mpg and a lot cheaper to buy, used off road everyday, pulls plant trailer and cattle trailer no probs
  6. had a navara and traded it in for a new ranger in march and really happy with it,and seating position alot better, don,t know about mpg cus its always towing trailer
  7. i use a sako finnlight in.243 with a schmidt and bender 8x56 hungarian scope and a wildcat sound mod, does the job for me on fox and roe its also a 1 in 10 twist and shoots 100grain federal premium for deer and hornady 58 grain for fox occasionally, usually stick to 100 grain for everything as no need to keep changing th zero
  8. my hmr wears a leupold vx111 4.5-14x50,and sako finnlight .243 has a hungarian schmidt and bender 8x56.rememember if you can,t see it you can,t shoot it
  9. pm me somewhere to send a donation good luck jim
  10. people who think dogs should,nt be shot for worrying livestock should look at a field of sheep after a dog or dogs have run amok through them, not just the sheep but the unborn lambs aswell!all dogs even working dogs lurchers and terriers should be broken to stock or left on a lead!
  11. could of been kids in garden not hens what would people of thought if he,d took the dog back and it savaged a kid next time it got out!does,nt matter if he,s a keeper or joe bloggs he,s got a responsibilty to keep his dog under control
  12. got a new one in march, changing from a navara, better on fuel and good driving position plus tows everyday and seem good up to yet!
  13. don,t have to have the independent suspension on the rear its a extra on the 350 grizzly at a cost of about £500
  14. always run honda but the last electric shift one really sickened me sticking in gear and the price quoted to repair it was the last straw,so swapped to yamaha grizzly ultramatic seems to be every bit as capable as honda and less to go wrong!also seen a report that mod are swapping from honda to yamaha after testing in afganistan
  15. kawasaki are crap had one and wished i,d never seen it
  16. new yamaha grizzly 350 auto, switchable 2 or 4wd £3800 plus vat!and 2 year warranty plus datataged!does that price include vat and how much warranty, always makes me wary if somebody sells something so new might be a bit of a dog
  17. bought a new one in march after running a navara and wished i,d changed earlier, nothing but praise from me,plus it tows everyday and wife likes driving it she hated navara.wanted a new hilux but could,nt justify the extra 5k
  18. i use a sako 75 finnlight in .243 and it shoots as well as a mates 85 and feels better made in my opinion,so good i had a chance of a 75 or 85 in .308 and bought the 75
  19. leupold vx3 4.5-14x50lr nice fine reticle and enough magnification, got 2 s+b 6x42 and 8x56 brilliant scopes for .243 and .308 but would,nt dream of putting them on my hmr reticle far to heavy in my opinion
  20. wanted a ifor williams or truckman top for a ford ranger double cab
  21. had a d22 and loved it never let me down over 100k,got a ford ranger now and really like it,good driving position and good on fuel, know more in a few months but its towed every day and gone off road were nissan went so no probs
  22. had a d22 and loved it,was due for replacement so tried a d40 and hated it thirsty crap at towing, and big and clumsy,so bought a ford ranger 3_4k cheaper better at towing and better on fuel (d22 3tonne,ranger 3tonne,d40 2.8 tonne towing limit so whats the use of having all the extra power if the clutch can.t take it )
