  3. I dont think you should consider going out without a locator, and going out with an experienced ferreter to show you the ropes. that way you will be less likely to become frustrated if you dont perform. All my ferrets are very close to me, sit on my shoulders, play in the house with the kids etc, etc. But they still kill down holes, and have to be dug to. Even the smallest of Jills has recently had to be dug to at a depth of nerely 5 feet after a kill in a stop end. There would be noway she would have got out for some time without my help. Given I was 25 miles away from home..a think its

  6. I take it you are town based rather than country based? If you were out of town based I could offer a quick and easy solution, with guaranteed no comebacks...

  8. Went round the neighbouring small holding yesterday to do a bit rat snaring for them. Their little girl is having problems speaking, but she's bright as a button and always entertaining. Whilst I was there, my neighbour gave me a copy of the sign language training shes been learning her daughter, so that when the children play, they can understand each other . Anyway, Jamie got up from the dinner table, and when asked where he was going, managed to sign 'I need a shit' So, he's picking it up well They've hardly said a word all afternoon.
  9. Maybe a bit of confusion withe Ferreting for rabbits season. It is an unofficial season where ferreters tend not ferret due to the increased risk of digging, when the ferret kills the young down the holes.
  10. When your FAC is up for renewal, apply for a Cotermineous Certificate. You fill out both forms and send them in together, on the application is a box you fill out to say it is part of a cotermineous certificate. It is £60 as oppose to to 2 x £50, because the FEO only has to visit once. I hope this clarifies the situation.

Heat the butter in a frying pan, add the chicken livers and begin to cook them, as the tempaerature decreases slightly add the garlic, so as it doesnt burn. Then add the bay leaves and the thyme. Season as required. Continue to cook until the livers are cooked through. Take off the heat, remove the bay leaves, and allow to cool. Put all the frying pan

  20. It gets sent out by the training establishemnt with which you register, and normally after you have paid a deposit. That is unless you only register for the exam, not the training. The BASC only moderate the exam results and send the certificate out.
