    The original casing for the B&F collar is shit, the plastic is too hard making it too brittle,. They've now changed it for a softer plastic, ive not yet used the newer casing. Dont agree with the comment about batteries not lasting long, I left the locater box on for over a week by accident, and the battery level was @ 18%!!!! I left the collar on for 5 days and still plenty of life in it. (changed it before using it again though to be safe). & personally I always put decent batteries in. & a tip for anyone interested, avoid the thought police, there are those that have poo

    Ive just given the Atkinson book back, borrowed it for a couple of weeks, great book, and ill buy it one day, not sure when though as finances are going in another direction atm. Unless you yourself are looking to do a swap.

    42 days! I guess that gives you the opportunity to not use the abort jab unnesisarilly (sp). Well I phoned the regular vet who is always good to us local hunters, and they want over euros for the 2 jabs, 1 after the other. Passed another vets this morning & popped in and he said it'll be just over 50 euros. I asked him about side effects & the long term cons, the upshot is its a recently new product he uses that can be given a lot earlier (still 2 jabs) and because its given earlier theres a lot less risk of infection in the uterus.     thanks moxy, iv got a few spare lurcher collars on here would it be ok to put 1 of them on the goat keep it loose enough? then tie it with a chain? Have a swivel both ends of the tether, and yes chain not rope.
