I know why youve had no responses to your ad, your not selling yourself, heres one you should try, no need to thank me the pleasure is mine. Is the pond oxygenated/aireated? In the warmer weather there is less oxygen and carp tend to jump to provide thereselves with extra oxygen. Another reason maybe carp bottom feeding if you dont have bottom filters in the crap at the bottom loved by larvae etc, then the fish can end up jumping to clean out gills.

Tomo we skin all the boar/sow over here, and even the farmed stuff from the butchers has no skin for cracklin', but some ex-pat butchers/farmers will do their own slaughtering and leave the skin on for cracklin'. Maybe with many Australian folk originating from UK (bloody crims!) they have inherited the love of cracklin'. I miss it myself.

Thanks Groverdog, been reading up a bit elsewhere also, and one tip on adding weight when finishing is bread soaked in milk, along with extra corn.

There was a jamie oliver program when he was on a boar drive in Italy. Gordon Ramsey was a cop out IMO wild hog shot in a f'in trap & probably not even shot by him.

Also heard that a well known beagle/russell/bull puppy farmer and seller of scottish wildcats had grassed up someone after a tiff. So be careful people.

Arte you talking abouyt strimmers, no offence but going by your spelling I assume you are. I bought a stihl strimmer second hand for 60euro, needed a new handle got one for 10 euro at the lawnmower repair shop, and touch wood going well. If I bought one new i'd go for a straight shaft brushcutter/strimmer.

Got some chickens, I now want to get them ready for the table in my own time, should I restrict their diet or space? & how long to purge them of feed and/if water before slaughter? many thanks in advance.

I used to do a lot of pest control for golf courses herts oxon area and bucks. Remember it is a business, so what can you offer them? I used to do the full service from the kitchen to the course, quite a few of the green keepers were into a bit of shooting also so softly softly.

Never mind the not worthy comments & the borrowed cliches,,,, the dog above has been thoroughly tested. & if the dog hadnt done what was asked I would have never wasted the battery in the camera. -

Asked to take care of the islands inhabitants (coypu) we came, we pedalled and we pissed ourselves. I feel for the people out walking who witnessed our debacle, as no-one will believe them. 5 men in a pedalo 1 semi auto, 2 black terriers and for extra turning circle spades for oars!.
