never saw it first time round -- posted coz i just got fed up with the latest round of plummer threads
I can undertsand that, especially when I read, ratting will test a terriers mettle,,,,,,,amyway! I only posted the link because I remember posting on it and couldnt be bothered to copy and post what I wrote. Agree about hearing anything through a tree trunk, but it can give you a hint of where you terriers at, but dont trust them for thinking your terrier is maybe digging on, could be the branches in the wind !
Happened to me on a boar drive, had to wait half hour or so for all the guns to get into position, picked up a terrier bitch of mine, had my keys with magnet in my chest pocket, anyway when it all kicked off boars running this way and that, lost my bitch in the mayhem, no problem I thought switched on the pieps,,,,,,,,,,nothing. Plenty of coypu about so walked up and down the river a few times, heard a few grunts and as I found her she was drawing a coypu.
World of the working terrier, 1st edition and 2nd edition are very different, so post a photo and youll soon find out.
Badger digging with terriers, there is a difference but smaller than the above.
Sean Frain book, not even worth the price of the batteries for a collar or box, but you probably knew that!
Best of luck.
Yeh I read a bit about it meself, he was actually out celebrating the news that his wife was pregnant with the third kid. Be a good time for her to get a divorce I reckon, doubt if he is gonna have much of a career after he's done his bird.
took a bitch to him to get mated by miner, she wasnt quite ready so fair play let us take him and bring back after mating, the bitch worked well but breeding unknown , kept 2 back and brian bought the rest 5 i think , lovely bloke proberly the most knowlegable of the old school but ultimately a dog dealer ......
How did the pups you kept turn out?
They would do me if only they had a small modification,,,,,somewhere to hook the gaiters on to the front, or id be forever tipping the loose out from digging.
Sounds like you need carrier bags inside wellies!
I wonder if im asking for to omuch out of a boot/wellie. I wear boots for digging & prefer steel toe caps, its the sole that takes the most stick, & wellies for following hounds, but everyone uses barb wire around here as if its free.
Think you have read it wrong 'Digaman'. Could mean a few different things to be honest, but not the way I think you understood. Lost in translation so to speak.
I have hinted to the missus that i'd like the one on the left for my birthday, delivery will be extra to Europe no doubt. If she aint in touch soon, then ill buy it for her xmas present!
HAd some nice aigle's for the last 6 or 7 years. Ive had wet feet while wearing them for the last 6 or 7 years (barb wire hopping)! Now replaced with some boots for about 40 euros and first time ive had dry feet in a long while! Surprisingly comfy aswell for a budget boot.
Only 115 votes so far, out of 15000 members. Hardly representative.
Even if the majority of THL members say they are going to vote BNP it won't mean that the BNP will be in government. It will however fuel the antis as they will go around telling all who will listen that not only are we cruel, but facists to boot...............
You asked the question, and now you dont like the answer,,,,,,,,,,,,,,im enjoying watching you squirm and crap excuses, if you had a backbone you wouldnt be making excuses and if you had a backbone you wouldnt be quivering in your boots what the antis will
