  1. A coloured man was walking down the road, and he see's a boy being attacked by a dog. He jumps on the dog and kills it with his bare hands. A newspaper reporter is walking down the road as it happens, runs across to the incident, and tells the guy he wants to run a story on what he's just whitnessed. He says to the man " I will need a good heading for the story " " Black man saves boy " say's the reporter Not impressed with that, the man replies " Im not a black man, " Instantly the reporter quotes, " Indian man saves the day ," not very happy with the reporter's

Ive got a 170 and my mate has the blitz, both good but his has the edge on large fields, as for the spot, i think his has the edge on mine also. Both of us have had wiring problems his with the inline fuse, mine actualy came apart in the handle and it was a bitch to fix as theres not much room to play with, The only downfall with the blits is its size as it is large, but saying that i wouldnt refuse one on that account. cheers bob
  3. Due to work commitments i need to sell these terriers. As some of you know im not a terrier man, so im not going to bull you about how good the dogs are just give you my honest information on the dogs. 1st my JRT dog Trix, ive had him from a pup, he was 2yr old in December 2006 and i have been using him for ratting and bushing. He loves ratting and he hasnt been tried on anything else. Hes not broken to stock and won't be best friends with your ferrets. Out of a very small irish working JRT bitch, the father was a very handsome JRT which did a bit of work, but not lots.

  11. Thats one way I see people with plastic herons at the side of their ponds, but dont know if it works, mus be something to do with teritory i think. Cheers bob That will work fine on an open pond, but he says he has a heavey duty cover over it, the herons will just land streight on top of it. A heron cant land on the water and has to wade in so the mono is placed around to stop it wading in. Cheers bob
  12. Sounds good to me mate, allthough sometimes thinking what some one looks like by chatting and never seeing them, is good fun. And once they seen my ugly mug they might not want to talk to me again. ( by the way have you sorted anything out for me mate, ) cheers Bob

  14. Thanks for the replys lads Just been up to him now and he had a little stroll about, all be it on three legs, theres a lot of fluid on the leg but theres no sign of weeping on the wound, given him his second 500mg of ammoxcillin, still very red but didnt feel to hot. To top it off the battery on my generator has died, im trying to hand feed the dog as he cant be bothered, syringing water into his mouth, torch between my legs with a flat battery, absolutely pouring down and running off my coat into my pants, what we do for our dogs hey Cheers bob
  15. Is this a new thing or has it always happened ? Do you feed her before you take her ? Is she a pup ? Has she travelled much ? Mate theres a million things it could be and i know as ive just been through it, My dog didnt like travelling, wouldnt jump into the back of my warrior, i had a cage so i changed it for a K9 Transit box, first time out in it not much difference, took all my dogs one day, Spaniel one side, whippet and terrier other side, lurcher wedged outside the box, never had any trouble with the spaniel since, jumps up now on command, still a bit sheepish when he
  16. Been up to him this morning and hes looking a bit perkier but still off his feet, felt his leg and it seemed a bit cooler, and he didnt wimper, hopefully the ammoxcillin is kicking in and he can have another this afternoon. His gums are very pale and hes not eaten or drank so ive just syringed some water into him, terrier came in for a look and the lurcher showed his anger so hes not up to being messed about yet, Can feel the puncture wounds in his leg but they are not wet, so no infection showing yet, just the swelling and red. Again thanks for the advice Cheers bob
  17. Just been up to him and hes still not up to much, hes very sore and his leg is red and hot, ive given him one ammoxcillin tab and il give him one more tommorrow, thanks for all the advice and the pms ive recieved, i will let you know how he is tommorrow, as for the taking him to the vets, im not writing that out, but its a bit of a problem as how i get him out of the sleeping box, down the garden and into the car, as its going to be very painfull for him, hes a big dog and i dont fancy getting bit Thanks bob
  18. Thanks for that DIGGIT It is deffinatly fluid mate as i have felt it and its as you describe, hes very sore and whimpers a tiny bit when i mess about with it, but i cant feel nothing hard or sharp. Hes still very babyish for a 2 year old but this is the first time hes gone into a cat as theres quite a few back and foe my garden, im pretty sure a bite has caused this as i saw what happened. Any idea as to where i get CLAMOXYL LA OR SOME SYNULOX LA do i get it from the vets Cheers bob
