Lurcher got into a fight with a neighbours cat yesterday before i went to work, came home to find him limping and a small swelling underside at the top of his fromt leg, couldnt find any open wound but it was punctured, Checked him this morning and the swelling is a little bigger and hes very sore on the leg, phoned my mate and he said he has some penicillin up the garden, just checked him again and he dosnt want to stand up at all, swelling about the size of a tennis ball, Cant get hold of my mate for the penicillin, but ive got some ammoxcillin here and im sure some of you boys use

Just to throw another question in to this post, I have my court inside my shed, so nothing exposed to the elements, i have three large nest boxes in them and now only keep two hobs which live in there. Every time i fill the nest boxes with shavings, the next time i go to clean them out theres nothing left in them, but the acsess hole is in the middle of the nest box door ( circular hole cut through door ). I know the ferts dont use them as they sleep on the floor in a nest they make themselves. Anyway the questions are 1) Can i do away with the nest boxes as they have always

Bought some nets off a guy yesterday as he had bought a lot at auction. They are in good nick and he told me some were hemp, and some were nylon. Spent two hours untangleing them, they seem ok but im confused as to what they are made of. Dont know if photos are of any help but i thought i would give it ago and see if i can get some replys as to what they are made of. A) C) D) E) Answers on a postcard

Witton mate, wouldnt use them if i were you, ok for standing around in college waiting for some knob to stamp on them to see if they are steel. :11: They not a snug fit for walking miles, if you got wide feet the metal will rub like feck, especially on slopeing ground, and soon the calf will be around your ankle like an old ladies stockings. Went to the Crawley and Hawsham opening meet and a guy i met told me that his local newsagents, who he has been buying the Countrymans weekley off for years, has stopped stocking it as people have been complaining to the newsagents about the contents, so hes withdrawn it and its now by preorder only. cheers bob
