Im hoping to move home in about four weeks, the property i bought had a very boggy overgrown garden and i have just spent 10k sorting it out. Anyway ive managed to dry out the garden and split it into a combination of patio, lawned area (well going to be) and barked play area for the kids. Last week i bought a load of bark from B&Q as it was on offer and although it wasnt the best stuff it was cheap enough to put a couple of inches over the 36 square meter area. As the patios are being laid this week, i decides this afte

  10. When,t to check my lamp the other day and it was flat as a pancake. Its been put away since February and i must have forgot to recharge it before storing. I charged it and it wouldnt fully charge on the plug in charger, it was on for a couple of days. Took it out with the lamp and it wasnt up to full brightness, then suddenly to went to full brightness. I thought it was sorted, but it didnt hold its charge, and was flat the next day. I then put it on a mains battery charger and again it charged but wouldnt hold. I probably now the answer to this but, is it knackerd? its only 2 yrs

  14. Ours were the same last year and they never left the release pen. This is in a twenty acre wood and the blighters loved it in there. On the other shoot they were out but would fly up the nearest tree. We threw sticks at them to fly over the guns, sounds a bit cruel i know but the bounty was if it flew over you and you decided not to shoot it or missed it then there was a £20 fine for the kitty. If you did shoot it the fine was £50 , there was only one shot last year and the fine paid, the bloke didnt even want the shot bird, needless to say it was quickly nabbed by me Good way
  15. Sounds just what i need Thank You (Pm Sent) Cheers Bob
  16. Cheers mate but all i can find is ones which want to show big bags being shot and not very educational, i mean like what to shoot over, and when to shoot over it, pigeon flight lines and what to look for, like the other day i saw at least 100 birds purched on pylon lines above a large field i thought that looks good but where would i start as they'd soon disapeer if i walked in to the field. I would love to learn about it first. Cheers bob
  17. Well done Ricky for mentioning the flying bit they are lazy feckers and will fly up the nearest tree and sit there watching you. I gather the ones you had there for a few years were well penned then as like i said earlier they dont last where they are loose. Cheers bob
  18. Lads, Charlie absolutely loves Guinea Fowl, they are no deterrent, I reared 12 this year for the shoot all penned in up with my chicken pens and the Charlie came in broad daylight dug under and took the lot. Never had that with chickens as they usually kill all and only take one or two. As DS said we have let them out at shoots and never to be seen again. The only thing we do with them on the shoots now is put a bounty on their heads to raise funds. Absolutely lovely eating tho. Cheers bob
