    i dare you

LOL, i wouldn't expect anything less coming from you brb.
  2. Would of loved to see the look on the sour cow's face I parked my van in a Child and Parent parking bay one day, and sure as eggs is eggs, this woman comes over and says "Er, excuse me, that bay is for parent and child parking" Quick as a flash i said to her, " I know, I'm both." Then walked away, her face was a picture, mouth open but lost for words.
  3. It sounds like a great gun mate, trouble is at the momment for sellers, Bloody reccesion. Not too many people got any cash spare, but good luck with your sale.
  4. Markieboi, i have ferrets, got permission, Most better for shooting than ferreting to be truthfull, but i'll come to you if you fancy a day out, also got a few young'uns if you want them, pm me mate, I'll try and sort something out with you.
  5. I'm not a long dog man, so i guess a lot will tell me to shut the fcuk up, but i do take an interest in the treads, and it seems to me that "talk is cheap", come on guys, if you got a good dog enjoy the night out, i'm interested in seeing the results and £50 is less than a night on the lash.
  6. exactly the poor scraggly thing has made it passed two working lurchers, three cats and five people, No sport in killing a 'visitor' to the house!! we've had allsorts come and visit us since we've made a little front garden! nice to have nature on your doorstep.....quite literally!! Too right, i aint got no qualms on killing someting if it needs doing, but i love being out there, and seeing nature that most people only read about. Good on ya, don't listen to the blood lust internet hunters, those that do it right don't brag!!!!!! (or goad)
  7. If you can't do nothing else, what i would do, (i'm not saying you should) is, get my ass down there late/early with the rifle. you have permission, and if you cant do anything else with the bunnies, then it's a risk worth taking. IMHO.
  8. I agree, if they are a nuisence, then nail them, but i have a small graveyard just across the road from me, that has a resident fox, don't ravage the bins or nothing, and i dump all me rabbit guts there, gone by the morning, it's like having my own personal waste disposal unit. Gooder!!!!
  9. well 24hrs later, he seems to be a lot calmer, i introduced him to a few other guys and girls (1 hob, 2 young jills) and they are getting on like a house on fire, he seems to be eating well, i've give him a dose of flea treatment, which the rest get regular, can't find any ticks, but his coat is moulting, like a very moulting thing. He is a lot smaller than my other 2 hobs, not just because he is under weight but his head is very small too, bloody long though, cant wait to get him strong, and see how he does on the bunnies. I'm not going to start working any of them for about 8 we
  10. I'm no expert on long netting, but it sounds like one of your options, of course you will need a friend to watch the ferret exit while you are dealing with the net, but it depends what "prickly hedge bush" it is, will it die down come autum? if so maybe you can then purse the warrens. Just my opinion, i'm sure someone more experienced will give you some other ideas Good luck.
  11. Why kill for the sake of killing? I hunt my prey either because they are a nuisence to someone or food to me and my dog and ferrets. Nothing big in being able to kill. But whatever floats ya boat i guess.
  12. well done taking it in Well couldn't just leave the poor bugger, but he'll have to learn there is no such thing as a free ride, i'll soon have him working for his supper.
  13. Went to pick a lost ferret up tonight, which just happened to be right by one of my permissions, so took the new hw100 along with me. The night went quite well.
  14. Ok, update, The ferret seems friendly enough, and looks quite healthy apart from his weight, he is pretty thin, i guess he has been out for quite a while, the other thing, that someone maybe able to give suggestions on is, when i put him in a cage, it's only a small rabit cage for tonight, he is going ballistic, running backward and forward like a ferret possesed. Do you think this maybe because he has had freedom for a while?
  15. 71!!! feck me that's some going, Well done, got any pics?
  16. Tough choice, it'd either be liver, bacon and onions with boiled potatoes or Rabbit stew with Dumplings.
  17. Would love to hook into something like that, Well done, great fish.
  18. Just had a call from a friend, his mum has found a ferret, don't know any other details apart from it is friendly, gonna pick it up tonight, it was found in Birch Green, so if anyone has lost a fert around that area let me know.
  19. You having a laugh? £70 is cheaper than a night on the piss, you either want the dog or you don't for that price.
  20. Nice bag there, looks like the 3 of you had a good day, well done.
  21. No problems using it in England then.
  22. I had the same thing, mine were just over 5 weeks old, seemed healthy then one morning 2 dead, I also used to feed dry food and a bit of rabbit, but i did only leave the rabbit in for a couple of hours in the evening, the other 5 grew up perfectly healthy so don't know what it was that caused it.
  23. i am at a PETA meeting as i type, got a nice bowl of rabbit stew in front of me, mmmmmm
  24. STELLA for me lads, just sending the missus to get one now.
  25. Ah, the goverment got this terrorist situation sorted now, just make them give you their name and address when they buy a sim card, They will never realise why they ask that. surley it would help our overstretched security forces if you also had to put down your occupation, ie: Terrorist.
