    how did you find so many adresses slimshady, just looking through local yellow pages like? in my experience letters often do end up in bin. like snoopy said, just pop round, look smart, and above all if that farmer says no, then dont get mouthy or agressive, cos chances are he'll be in touch with all the other farmers on your list. good luck.

    haha just read this entire post, cracked me up! good stuff mackem and joe, those pike sure are getting crafty these days, using trout disguise...! reminds me of an expereince me and a mate had good few years ago now... something very simialr to you two, trout lake, big 'un up in east riding of yorkshire... there both using sweetcorn, bringing the fish in a treat when we hears a cough from behind us somewhere, really deep cough, the kinda cough a right big b*****d of a bailiff would have...so we lie low, breathing as quiet as we can like...not moving a bit....we wait, and wait....no more sound

    THE most loyal of dogs dawn...?? i think everyone on here who has a fave breed will pick their own, but for me if you get a good jack russell then he'll give his life for ya.

    smashing looking dog. sure the hard work will pay off. personally i like my dogs to always want to be with me, if they love ya, and look up to ya then they'll respect and listen. keep us updated on how he gets on.

    just add what i know, though gundogs aren't my speciality but you said when you do get hold of it, she'll give it up, but im guessing to get it you have to chase her, lunge at it, or at least go to her? she'll think this is a bloody brilliant game! 'yeah yeah, chase me' so she'll just keep on doing it. when she acts like that, you could try just turning back on her, act like your not even interested then, if she's gonna mess about your not gonna give her any attention. she'll soon get focused back on you again. keep at it, and good luck.

    cheerz for all the replies fellas. just to let you know, he seems fine now. took him down vet, she had a feel around his stomach, reckoned he'd picked up a bug. just kept him away from others, glucose in water to rehydrate, and on anti-bitotics now and some paste to stop the sh1ts. im not always the biggest fan of vets (when i was younger had one that was scared of ferrets!!) but the some of them are spot on fair play.

    appreciate the advice ditch, i know your someone who knows what they're talking about with dogs. think he's off back down the vet this evening. no real change, perked up a little this afternoon, took him out in garden keeping eye on him all time, but no more sickness or sh1ts.
