1. Thats where you are wrong and why we see so many young dogs jacking and up for sale before they are two. A dog isnt physically finished until its 2 and not adult in mind until its 3. A dog becomes adult at three. Christ we've gone from 15 months, to 2 years and now it's 3 years. Any advances on 3 years? Anyone reckon 4 years? Lol only kidding mate. I'm sure you're right ?
2. You're a braver man than me. Haha. I would love a pickup but can't part with my estate ?
3. YOU SOUND LIKE TROUBLE.....ANTI ALERT......3RD POST AND TALKING ABOUT ILLEGAL DOGS.....BULLX MEANS STAFFORD OR ENGLISH BULL TERRIER ALWAYS MATE... That's what I thought. Staffy or English ?
4. You can't beat an estate for family, dogs and extra kit. The focus and Astra estates aren't massive motors for daily driving either.
5. Tommmy27 nipped out with his young whippet last night. He's had a couple of nights on the lamp before but think the penny dropped last night. Hare was shot by the farmer but the whippet retrieved it straight back...
6. unorthadox i reckon lol. i will need to learn how its spelt though first Never mind learning to spell, it's time you got that pup on some bigger quarry ?
7. Gas Speak for your own dogs... And the pup is still young so I would still have my finger crossed ..if he is still going to find it rabbit on the lamp... Mine don't get 2 all season ?
8. I'm secretly enjoying it mate. I've worked full time since I left college at 18 and ive never had time off sick. The last 2 years I've worked 6-7 nights a week and don't get holidays or sick pay, so I don't take either. Lol. Last year I had 10 days off to go Majorca but that's been it. Feet up watching documentaries with the dogs and knitting purse nets. Apart from not being able to go mooching it is a welcomed break.
9. The pups were on here on here few weeks ago lads. Nice pics Blessed. I like that pit a lot.
10. He's putting more away at 4 months than half the lads put away with their full grown lurchers ??? He's a smashing looking pup. I take it he didn't yap then? Lol
11. How did your deerhound/collie/greyhound types fair on the fens Morton pre ban of course? First run they would hold their own with any Saluki hybrid and usually beat them to the catch,2nd run they often accounted well for themselves, then the saluki hybrids took it to another level.Bring the Saluki Hybrids into my domain and let them loose on Fell,Dale and Moor and they were always a poor 3rd to the better looking jukels. Thanks for that. What I expected really.
12. Oak? That's a bit posh. Haha. I was gonna go collecting and making a few when I'm up and about but can't guarantee they will be oak. Lol.i just happen to have a few oak boards lol the ones that warp or crack while drying will have a few off cuts? If you pay postage I'll send you some wood Appreciate that fella. Nice one ?
13. BS Never heard so much shite in all my life, If you dont have time to take your dog out, sell it someone who has. Please dont breed your kids will be stuck in the house until they are 21.Injury prone dogs are more to do with genetics, badly bred curs, and bad luck. You havent seen many farm dogs grow up have you? A working sheep dog will do more miles in a week than any dog on here (unless you work dogs for a living like Ken). They get started training at 3-4 months, with hard training coming 6-8 months. Funny how the countryside isn't full of f****d and crippled sheep dogs is

15. Are these 3/8 terrier 5/8 spaniel that you mentioned in another thread or have I got my wires crossed?
16. Best post yet. Imagine feeding and walking a dog for 2 years then finding out it doesn't want the job. Jesus you would be crying Then on the other hand you start it 4 month ... It yapps like feck ...get rid of it and it could of been a half decent dog started later on in life....Like rolling a dice. Lol What I don't understand is you and trigger both have adult dogs supposedly doing the job ... So what was the rush with the pups ...Starting them at that age It's not about rushing for me, I can't answer for trigger. I like them to be educated in all aspects of the field from young. I

21. Best post yet. Imagine feeding and walking a dog for 2 years then finding out it doesn't want the job. Jesus you would be crying ? a lot of people do wait though gaz. A lot of folk don't do anything with there pups if they catch a odd rabbit here n there then so be it... I for one do wait. I know a lot of lads that do. Each to their own Frankel ?

23. Funny things genetics. I don't think you can see wheaten in my bitch at all. Looks like collie/bull/grey I think. But her temperament is like a wheaten on speed. Lol. Lovely pup that. All the best with it.
