    It is crap timing mate but like my missus said I don't think there would ever have been a good time. Before chirstmas would have been shit because of money, new year the same. A few months later would of screwed my season right up. At least now I can have the dogs fit for October and be out lamping and mooching all winter. I'm glad it didn't happen a few months later. I get married in Feb. Lol.

    I tried not to go hospital Sunday but it swelled up double so the missus whisked me off. Lol. Don't envy you doing yours 3 times though. it's really weak now, I've rolled over it a few times while playing football or training. Seems easier to do so. Hasn't been so bad for a while tho, but starting to get problems with my knees. Been Physio and they said its with compensating for my ankle. Hasn't stopped me though.Yeh I can imagine that. My left knee is clicking from keeping the weight off my right. Hopefully a few weeks won't do any lasting damage. Them hills you walk can't be good on the

She did 20 bunnys local before she was 12 months old and never saw the need to go back up the dales for the sake of it. I spent all of last season and the season before shooting hares for her to retrieve and didn't bother with the rabbits as much. Don't plan on going back up the dales anytime soon.     I remember getting slated by loads on here when Jim took me up the dales with my brindle bitch. I think she was 8 months old or there abouts and we got 20 odd rabbits with her. Plenty said she should of only had a few runs for her first night on the lamp. Jim figured she would learn more in that one night than she would in 10 nights local just getting 2s and 3s. I took his word for it and basically let him do his thing. He is a very experienced dog man after all.
