  1. What can and can't be done with lurchers in France? I know hare coursing is not allowed but what other forms of hunting can be legally be carried out with a dog from England taken on a pass port?
  2. Don't comment if you don't know the fella or what the raids were for or about. The lad never goes on here, dont post pictures and ain't a show man like most on here, he's just a normall lad who has been bullied and harassed by the r.s.p.c.a. Most people on here are to busy on there computers to have his mis fortune to be in his situation in such a police state, because they never work a dog, Lurcher or terrier. I'll say no more about this now.
  3. What they done to that lad only happened 2 weeks ago it should never be on telly, he's been found guilty of nothing. And an up and coming case against him and other lads is almost certain to fail now due to it being a botched attemp at a fit up on permission carrying out legal pest control. People should only comment on this if they know the man and whats happened as he's a genuine dog man who's being bullied and harried by the R.s.p.c.a SCUM.
  4. . Why come on this topic and slag it off, are you an expert on the non-ped crosses? I thought you was againt people slagging off. You sad man all the rubbish about travellers was written by dog magic! up untill I said to "but why are you using travelling words" but you've messed about with it to look like its my quote! You've looked back at all my old posts, my god!, They are fetching new laws out about stalking for the likes of you.
  5. Have you looked out your window s, of course I'm bored the grounds like iron and the other firms about so I'm being a computer hunter! Lol.

  8. In the near futer there is a case due involving "alleged" badger digging. I can say from the lads involved the COUNTRY ALLIANCE have been no help what so ever. They were all members of a fully paid up country alliance pest controll club. I wont go in to details but after a vehical being confiscated 3 RSPCA raids on houses in which totally un marked lurchers and even a pet staff were confiscated ( 3 months after the alleged offence ! ) along with various other items from phones to copys of earth dog running dogs! the country alliance have flat refused to fight there corner even refus
  9. Why don't you get into racing greyhounds ? Is it to competitive? It's so easy to breed "lurchers" to win races all you need is basically animals so saturated with whippet and or greyhound blood they might as well be one. Lurcher racing was started to have a bit of fun and exercise the working mans dogs in the summer. But like showing it is the end all and be all for some people. Like all this Lurcher world guinnies bull sh*t. I would like to see how these crosses fair in the heavy going in winter given 3 nights hard lamping on rabbits a week, let alone the " proper sports " we're not ment
  10. Talk on www. warrior boxing about fighting this is ment to be about dogs !
  11. I watched it and I didn't agree [bANNED TEXT] all of it on there but I enjoyed it as a program. I know of the dohertys they are fairly local and I used to course [bANNED TEXT] there now brother in law who was on the program ( never spoke since ) I don't mix with them myself. But all the people giving them stick on a computer, why not ring them I'm sure you could have a straitener with either of them, because they can fight. Far to many key board warriors on this site.
  12. so you have to be hunting 50 years before you allowed an opinion???? an how would you know im a novice??? do you honestly beleive that becuase you have hunted longer it means your better at it then others who aint been in it same amount a time??? heres me thinking folk learn at diffrent rates, i seen some old fella's that couldnae get the best out there dogs if they got a 1 to 1 lesson n how to do so an some younger guys that do well why even come on a forum if you aint intrested in other folks opinions i never slated mr cookland, all i said is he will end up compared to hancock,
  13. because they / I love there sport! iv got a lot of permission but if I lost it all tommorow id still keep lurchers. Im not an unpaid pest controller Im a dog Man ! ! To add my permission has gone from near on plagues of rabbits to barley any this season too! ! not trying to cause a row but its taken me 18 years running were I could and needed too, to get to what dogs I run today and what I know ( not much! ). Iv had my permission 1 - 2 years should I have waited till 2 years ago till I aquired a running dog do you think ? ? So i gather you had somewhere to run those dogs 18yrs

  18. have you just used a 14 month old dog as a stud dog?? youll be another hancock soon if thats the case So what! its got very good breeding and that will be passed on to both pure and 1st x pups, as said before if your using say a pure collie to produce a collie cross rabbit catching lurcher does the collie have to be tried and tested on rabbit itself no ? you dont even know a man and you call him a puppy farmer (hancock). the pure deerhound was breed for more running red stags if you wait to find 1 still used for doing that youll be waiting for ever. full of experts slagging people of t

  20. I dont know trevor cooks very well but I know he prefurs hes dogs to be kept by lads who work all quarrie with them regular . As for show ponies the yes the silly judgies do like them but as long as I own my bitch and my brother owns his they will never enter a show ring. we go out all the time and when there ready they will be given heaps of work and we WILL go out of our way and do what ever is nescsery to get them on gear and test them as working dogs, and if there up to the job theres fellas who will give this xs a go.

  22. ERR..... That's not the cleverest, calling people "wankers", just for replying to a post ! I can assure you I have not failed with my Deer/Grey X, in fact she is turning out to be a very decent dog at what she was brought in for !! I'd advise you to get a bit more knowledge about the breed before slagging people off !! Cheers. Iv seen the e mails trom bill doherty that were sent to gibbo, hes only quoting what was said about not wrapping them up in cotton wall between 1 - 2 year old regarding rabbit and hare. so chart you are saying you know more about 1st x deerhounds than the man who
  23. If thats true that will back fire on the law! thats a nice story for the media and or country alliance to take up and show what a hitler state we live in! and will get over turned bet r.s.p.c.a scum funded that case too.
  24. Ment to say, the odd run at a hare on the correct land wont hurt I find, Its other things that do more damage! Im not talking a 100 yard slip at boston, but a 12 month old deerhound greyhound can account for a hare on the lamp (easier method I.m.o) or somewhere in the day were the young pup is safe from getting pulled about for 3 fields.
