    Get your barrel screw cut. You shouldn't loose much power by switching the mod with an adapter but you can loose accuracy with the mod not being concentric. Is the adapter a perfect fit for the barrel? "Diet" could also be an issue. Some barrels can be very fussy

Specific firearm laws etc etc...... I'm sure they are floating around on the forum. They don't take much reading. Some do take a little understanding and can leave you a little cross eyed but I'm sure a good read can save face and grief like in this thread.     Be very careful how you list them if that's case. Insurance company's are no more than slimy snakes. I would get it in written confirmation from them as to what they accept as safe and secure storage for a firearm. And or if they accept that an airgun is in their terms classed as a firearm. The minuet you neglect to declare that your added window/door locks or alarm system wasn't on or in place at the time of a burglary then watch the feckers wriggle. Buy a gun cabinet and make sure it's out of sight and secure. For your piece of mind and to their requirements.
