  1. And you can use the general licence to prevent damage to growing timber! Care to elaborate?

I will have a route through. Most are mild steel plated. Those in the pic are stainless but I couldn't tell you what grade. And are only around 2". I can get some larger rings but I know for a fact they are not stainless and may be a thicker guage. I will look and have an ask. Ross no bother. Lol. You know my PayPal addy. Lol.

Do you want this mate? It will be two when I cut it in half and grind the points. But I will need to know the length of the pinns? What's the norm? I have a shed load of these 8mm rings in all sorts of shapes and sizes and plenty of stainless rod. Again 8mm. Atb. Mick
  8. Lol. Thanks for that ainsley. Where did that come from? Or was it just your recepie of the day.
  9. We have an example of this two gardens down from us: white, dead wood showing all over a large, mature lime. I'll try to get a photo when the light's right, although it may not show sufficiently well in a snap. The drey to whose occupants I attended a couple of years ago, and which is only 30 yards or so from the lime, was re-occupied this breeding season. Over the winter, almost every thin twig, and certainly all the new ones, were stripped. The previous owners used to take their own anti-squirrel action when they had little visitors and as a result their tree was pretty much untouched (alt
  10. http://www.naturalengland.org.uk/Images/summary_tcm6-13924.pdf Damage to protected trees won't cut it. Either TPO, conservation area, SSSI or SSI. Protection of trees doesn't really cover shooting in to them. Unless your shooting chainsaws. Lol. Noise disturbance isn't a valid reason either. But if they were causing crop damage it would be no different to shooting a woody. Would it?? Atb.

I'm glad to see the ball has started rolling lads. Especially since mr Wilkes has had a bath. Something scary about that. Be careful.

    Nice!

Balls to the wife. I might get me a pair. I fancy a change of colour. Fed up with ginger legs.
  13. You beat me to it simoman. I'm a slow typer lol
  14. Wormers you can get readily off the net. Plenty of sites do them. Drontal or equivalent without prescription and you will save a fortune on vet prices. Your ear treatment you would need to check with the on line retailer. I have used vet medic and found them to be sound.

And it would be well worth your while. I'm surprised there has been no takers on this offer
  16. No harm done andy and it could have been a lot worse. An important lesson learned. For all. Atb.
  17. Nice post AR177 such a shame to cover up that woodwork
  18. Wether smithy was offended or not is not the real issue. A genuine longstanding member who contributes to the Thl( not just uses the site to sell stuff), asks for help and is given a piss take reply. It discourages people to ask a sensible question in this section. Yes smithy could have used google but sometimes information is better from people who know first hand. Apologies buster you smart arse I did overlook your link and thank you all for the help.
  19. http://www.shootingchrony.com/manual_F1M1.htm Don't know wether this is of any help? I have never used the f1 so I can't tell you.
  20. It's great to see good advice being offered to members who are asking for help. Clique. Sheep and following. Put them in what order you like. Very disappointing. Is it that those who liked busters comments don't really have a clue or purely just couldn't be arsed to reply. Again thanks for your contributing help........
  21. looks like a lay by for you mate And a 324 mile round trip for you.
