    Yes its got a zoom. I havent done much long range shooting with mine yet, mainly close ratting but you find yourself altering it as your wandering about. You can also get a doubler lens to increase the viewing range.

    I will second that, but you wont find faults with the AA410 either A tough one. Albeit the HW is a tad quieter. Neither are a status symbol, so i would go and shoulder both at the gun shop to see which fits better.

    The 550 is a great bit of kit. Its ok as a day scope but it certainly would not be my first choice. Come night and its a diferent matter. Its a good clear image, i have never suffered with it being grainy and i can see a couple of hundred yards with the built in ir. but the 940 does make a diference. I cant fault the image one bit. There are a couple of niggles i have, one is the height of the unit. Its not a comfortable prone shooting position, unless you have a neck like an ostrich. You may find you need to pack up your cheek piece. Not over bad but you do notice. The other is the manual

    I was going to put my bit forward but it would have only read the same as Davy's post. Spot on mate. If your going to buy Nutella, peanut butter and a white loaf. Make sure it's sliced and have yourself a butty whilst your waiting for the rats.

    Anybody got any true news and reviews regarding the FX cyclone or anything similar in the FX range? I don't want any google reviews or links thanks but I wish to hear from those who own or have owned or shot with one. I like the look and feel of the cocking action and in some instances it suits my way of shooting. But never having actually shot one, I can't say for certain. I am aware of the low shot count but this is of no concern as the cylinder will be replaced with a custom or a donor. So bag of crap and leave well alone or a turd that can be polished!!? Thanks.

    Thanks for the offer mate but I have enough of my own stuff I struggle to keep up with. I may volunteer the odd night but your offer would be better suited for somebody dedicated and trustworthy to sink their teeth into. I'm a backtracking messer. You should know that by now. I'm sure you won't fall short of good lads wanting to learn a thing or two and have a good craic and I would urge anybody who is considering your offer to snatch it by the balls. Thanks.
