  6. After my last effort i have been on the lookout for a suitable smoker cabinet. I found an old lockable twin skinned drug cabinet that came out of an old folks home. Obviously no keys, nor any drugs! but its just what i have been after. A couple of hours in the workshop in an effort to turn it into a working smoker cabinet i could trial with and hopefully work out any problems, without spending too much time and more importantly, money! Firstly i set the whole thing on fire to remove any paint and nasties. I cut the door in half and bolted up the bottom section and sealed the join
  7. I steer clear of white light and alternate between amber and red for rabbits. Just red for rats.
  8. Which filter reduces the beam the least? I picked up a lenza P7 and white beam is great, 150m+ With the red filter on, it's hard 10 freekin' yards! I only had a quick try last night and need to test the other colours. I picked up a pack of 4 filters (Usual Red/Blue/Green/Yellow). Any thoughts/Experience? I'd like to pick up a red LED for it IF they do them. Amber tends to reduce the beam the least. I have tried green and blue but couldnt get on with them so tend to stick to just amber and red. Is the filter for the lenser a genuine one? Dedicated red or couloured LED's are

  14. Lol. Get yer short arm in your deep pocket.
  15. To add. I wouldn't worry too much about the unbranded spurious engines. Most are ok and on the upside they are also cheap as chips to replace.
  16. Looks ok matty. But they all look the same just a different colour and stickers. Lol. My only problem with that and some of the other machines is the operating lever location. If you buy one you will soon find out what I mean. Prepare to get the toolbox out for a slight modification ;-)

  18. I spend most of my winters splitting wood and have built the odd splitter or two. The machine I have now rarely gets stuck. But it has about 20 ton behind it on a single blade.
  19. I tell a lie. I found the thread and not much use. My mate was looking at these but he never bit the bullet. http://www.titan-pro.co.uk/electric-hydraulic-log-splitter/27/Category.aspx There is a demo on YouTube.
  20. The splitters you have been using must be shite if a log can pop out. I have seen the odd mishap with the saw bench. But never a log popping out under load. All our gear is tractor mounted but I put up a similar thread a while back and had some good responses. I will have a look for it matty.
  21. Another couple of posts and you should be able to post.
  22. You can always post it tracked fella. Send it the best service, insured and all, which the buyer will pay for. It's your choice but just an option. Atb
