Did he mention anymore on the subject accip.did he come across foot prints.sightings.etc. From what I remember it was based among other things, on the fact that a close friend of his, a forest worker, came face to face with one on a track in the forest......he told the story in detail...to him it was unmistakable, but who knows, eh? It's good to think they might be out there I wouldn't want to come across 1 mind while out lamping.Until a body is found it will be just a myth I think.

  5. I've given sea weed powder.vitamin c in winter and glucosamine to my old stiff jointed staff bitch.but never really given any energy.stamina supplements to be honest.but it's good to hear other people's views on them.
  6. What X of lurcher was you using it on and would you recommend it.As with anything I've no experience with it does make you a bit weary
  7. I've only really just seen a few articles on giving creatine to dogs mate.and don't know anyone who uses it for canine use.I don't know if it's safe for dogs or any long term negative effects etc. I've just read a few posts on a greyhound forum and it seems to be used. What sort of results did you see ?
  8. Just been reading a few articles on giving dogs creatine. Have you ever heard of someone doing this and did they see results. I wouldn't use it for my dogs. But it seems like it is used quite a lot in weight pulling dogs.
  9. At least you were out mate.every dog has an off day.
  10. Go luck for today Andy.and hope the Pom does you proud...
  11. That's a decent gash del glad she's back at them mate.
  12. Careful mate. Middle aged mid life crisis men are the most at risk demographic to suffer a fatal collision when riding a bike. Lol+1 had a few close shaves myself avoided a head on when a car decided to over take the car in front of it with me coming the other way.i could feel my trousers move with the wind blast.put a nice lump in my throat lol.And hit a badger in the dark at 70 the bike took off but luckily I didn't hit the tarmac.i hit it's head if I hit is body I'm sure I would of come off the bike.
  13. She done well for you dell.why was she rested up for if you dont mind me asking.

    Xmas

I bet you are tempted to take the lurcher with you mate.
  15. Yea I done it in 2007 can't beat the buzz and feel of power on a superbike. Ferrari performance for fiesta money.
  16. Thought about it then King? I did have a quick think about it lol.But I think your fudge idea might just outdo the stale battenberg,
  17. If someone really cares for the dog an say there partner had been diagnosed terminally Ill and had to give up the dog.then they should be made to watch the dog getting culled.ffs total nonsense
  18. I grafted my balls off for 18 months on a dozer ripping every day for hours on end I've still got tennis elbow from it and after 11 month into the job Xmas arrived.i didn't even get so much as a phone call off the boss.now that's thanks for you lol.
  19. Thats fair enough you've been there and learned a lesson and it ain't a route you would go down again.thats fair enough. But to an inexperienced new to the dog game lad.it could be a great thing buying a ready made dog.
  20. I can understand where you are coming from.but if fate ment you lost your dogs and I dont wish that on you or anyone else.then a ready made dog say in September is a very tempting thing to consider or just wait out the whole season. Its like a terrier man having lost say 2 of his best dogs in very short time.i bet he would be tempted to buy a ready made dog for the season. But each to there own.
  21. Just out of curiosity what's the most money payed for a running dog on here.
  22. each to there own, Christmas round the corner a think the majority would say no. Plus you no what your putting in to a pup and no what yer getting out when buying one might be it but bonding wise might not won't to no. But o well everyone's differentI don't mean at this time of year mate at Xmas most of our wallets are a bit thin.but if the dog was really good at its job.the litter mates were and a decent line of honest workers. Then I don't think it's to bad to pay a wedge for a ready made dog. I payed £400 for a pedigree staff about 20yrs ago that was pointed out to me it was slightly over
  23. There were 2 bull X on the for sale section lately that went for £400 they sold quick. you could pay £200 for a pup from proven stock and at least that on good grub for 1yr and that totals £400. So if you could buy a ready made dog say3yr old that was good at its job and came with a decent trial for £600. It's not to bad when the sums are worked out. No bringing it on someone else has done all the training and put the time in.all you got to do is gain the dogs trust grab your lamp and you are out enjoying lamping. And before the question start then yes I would pay that for a ready made do
