  2. Please accept my apology, from reading your post I can tell that you're not one of the Graham brothers, they give their identity away by being only semi literate EDIT- Forgot to say, I thought you was one of the Graham brothers because on of theirincarnations was with the name Bunny Killer or Bunny Basher or something similar.. I wasn't tarnishing the Welsh as a whole- just the Graham brothers as they;'ve done more scamming than any other person known, there's loads of info on the internet about them- all from the people that have sent money and not received the stuff from them...
  3. Mate- you did a fine job of that If i'm not mistaken I think you just dealt with one of the Graham Brothers (sure I read somewhere that one of them was scamming again under the name Bunny Killer).. If it is him, you're dead lucky that you got anything from him from all i've read on the various fora.. Well done mate John Thanks bud, if it is him then he must be Welsh. Doesn't matter anymore. Just hope nobody else gets caught out. Atb CW. Yep, both are from Wales.. Have a look here http://www.airgunfor...searchid=908811 There's loads of th

  5. It is important to guitarists, the pinkie is used for applying suspended fourths EDIT- Doh!!, Forgot to say, smashing leathercrafting John
  6. It was not for their own protection was it? Ha Ha Ha!!! Nice one John
  7. I'm sure that I read on a forum that these two had been taken in to custody, I can't remember which forum it was though John
  8. But it could also have bent the barrel up wards, HW use mild steel for their barrels and an underlever smashing in to the barrel wouldn't do it any good I used to have a HW35e, the barrel was bent down so much due to enthusiastic cocking that the scope couldn't be zero'd, I had to remove the barrel and set it up in the vice between two lengths of angle iron and three bits of wood.. It was fine after that Cheers, John
  9. Hi My HW77 doesn't have an anti beartrap fitted but it's a mk1 from 1983, I'm fairly sure that the mk1 didn't have this feature.. The lever slamming shut can have caused all sorts of problems and I would only have bought one in this state as a 'parts' gun.... John
  10. Hi again If you have a carboot sale close by, various stuff can be had cheaply for knife making, fleabay is also a good source.. Here's some stuff I acquired.. Here's a couple of files that I hammered out and did a basic grind, They were forgotten about then Midnight, I have to say, you make some fantastic knives ATB, John
  11. Hello there Here's a link to a website that has a load of tutorials, just navigat from the box at the left hand side.. They also sell everything that's needed, I don't think they post to the UK but you can look through the vaious materials and get used to what you'll need to complete the job If you have a linisher you can actually use old files for blades, or you can go the whole hog and get an anvil to forge your own blades.. If you have a Comwells store near you you can buy O1 precision ground steel that is fantastic for blades or you can even buy blades with bevels alrea
  12. I though JSR had nothing to do with the BBS, I thought Terry had bought it from them Have a look at Neils website (NMP) for cheap gas Not sure about postage costs though as I nip to his place (ten mins from me).. He's a smashing bloke too Cheers, John
  13. Petes videos used to be on youtube, they were picked up on a blade forum, he got a slating for calling the steel zero-1 instead of O-1 (the O stands for Oil quench supposedly).. It doesn't make a ha'peth of difference to me, he made a nice useable knife with the minimum of tools, that's what counted One thing I would have done differently is when he made the scales, I would have epoxied one side straight on to the tang then when cured, drill through from the tang side.. I would then have epoxied the other scale and once cured drill it right through from the first side then epox
  14. Crumbs!! Those spalted ladles/spoons look fantastic All good stuff mate Cheers, John
  15. Hi Have a look at this tutorial, it will show you in pics how to do it (an alternative method) Also, you can go on the menu at the left hand side and click on tutorials, then knives, there are loads more tutorials to choose from Careful though, the first time I went there, hours had flown by Cheers, John
  16. Hi A couple more.. Early Webbos this time.. I only bought this on saturday, i've been told that it's the second best in exestence (i've seen the best and it's absolutely like new!!).. Webley mk1 air rifle.. This is a Webley Service mk2.. Cheers, John
  17. Hi Lewdan All HW90's are gas rammed, i've never heard of one being changed to a spring powered and am not sure if it can be done or not Have to tried cleaning the barrel in case there's any rust of crud in there?? What did the recharge take the rifle up to?? It's also possible that it may need running in to get the gun to settle down if it wasn't used much originally I have a Gamo Stutzen rifle that was awful at first, once i'd shot a tin of pellets (500) through it the gun settled down brilliantly I'm actually buying a hw90 in a few weeks time (can't wait!!!)
  18. had both guns and didnt seem to have problems with scopes mate try differant mounts as there cheap and try a gunsmith. be carefull as you can actually damage the gun breaking it away from the scope mounts seen it happen also the guns are the same except the stock. and if the seals go you can use various others if you go to a company that sells seals as thats what i did especially heat resitent ones. there are still a few guns out there and a guy in lancashire used to have tons of parts mail order if you modify iy be carefull as you can actually damage the pumping arm bending it by over pumping
  19. Lovely looking sporter stock Rob B) Cheers, John
  20. Hi Jasper Yes, mine is a Mk1 Airsporter.. I have a BSA Cadet but someone has refinished the stock and removed the winged BSA Jasper- your two look as though they would refurb beautifully Cheers, John
  21. Hi Jasper (what a fantastic name ) The bottom rifle in my pic is an RB2 Airsporter , the RB stands for Rotary Breech (which i'm sure you knew), it's the same breech as the BSA SUperstar.. Always fancied a Centeniary Airsporter but one turned up for £385 and I turned it down, the chap sent me a message thanking me as he sold it for £550 I love the real BSA Springers (before they became Spanish) and recently have been searching them out more than any other makes.. Here's a few more Airsporters.. Cheers, John
  22. Hi Eddy What is the prefix on your serial# ? It should be one of these for 22cal.. Z MERCURY MK1 0.22 1971/73 ZB MERCURY MK2 0.22 1974/78 ZC MERCURY MK3 0.22 1978--- The mk1 and mk2 have one piece cocking links and the mk3 has an articulated type (as does the Challenger and I believe the 'S') Here's my mk2 (ZB) I also have a Mercury Challenger in 22 cal (ZD).. The middle one of these three.. The Challenger was a bit more refined than the standard Merc, it had a proper barrel axis bolt rath
