Yes it is mate. Its a gun ive restored for its owner but hes lost the open sights off it and there expensive to replace.A nice small set of scopes would look nice on her hello adey i wouldn't bother with a scope, i've seen two or three that have had scopes fitted to the spot welded rail and the rail invariably lifts spoiling the gun (i have one that's had the same treatment though it's not as bad as others that i've seen ) the scope always creeps back too scoring the top of the trigger block, you may just be able to make out the damage in this pic (sorry, don't have a close up)

CC, of those watches, there's only one that is battery driven, all the rest are mechanical though i do have a few hundred quartz and electronic watches, i used to buy fifty batteries off fleabay at a time and use them fairly quickly, it got too damned expensive so i just pulled out the crown to disconnect the power on them... i like the mechanical watches better than the quartz ones but the qtz are much more accurate and you don't have to mess about winding them up every day..... john

i'm a bit of an obsessive collector of various things...... i collect and play these (rather badly these days due to the onset of arthritis ) i collect watches (have done for 34 years and have over 2000 ) here's a few bonsai trees.... and my newest hobby, my little midget and getting it roadworthy.... john...

i have one on my stealth but i only use it to scare the ferral pigeon at work out of the shadows (they seem terrified of it!) i work in a foundry with large, high bays and the pigeons get up in the rafters above the lights where it's difficult to see them but if i turn the lazer on them, it scares them out so that i can get a shot off john

hey up i had a king ratty (swapped it for an original mod50) a mate of mine had the ordinary ratty and wanted to up the power, so he removed his hammer spring, i knew someone that agreed to make me some stronger springs up so he made me four for £25, i gave one to the mate, he installed it, imediately it was more powerful (couldn't take chrony readings as i shot my chrony within 24hours of buying it and unfortunately killed it ) after all that, i wasn't even sure whether the springs were the same in his with the small Co2 bulbs and mine with the 88gramme bulbs i still have three o

sounds like a grand day out then luke, there's no worse feeling than not having faith in a gun to do the job- glad you got it sorted john

you did well there mate i once bought four meteors that were all broke, they were used at a scout camp or some such similar establishment the pistons had been literally pulled in two , though the springs were square in section, they looked more like the air-force square springs... i matched the broken piston pieces, welded them back together, threw the square springs away and rebuilt two of the rifles (two cylinders were kaput, they'd had the trigger pulled whilst the barrel was open and the jaws were bent uppards) i gave the rifles away years ago but were fine and shot ok fo

hello bob i've just bought a faber 7l 300bar cylinder, i have the original reciept from when it was bought new last year, sept '07, on the cylinder there's a stamp that says 2007/08, would this mean that it was made in august 2007? there is no label on this tank like there's been on my previous tanks with the date when it needs retest, does this mean that it'll need a re-test in august 2012? when i say there's no label, i mean the one with the month/year on, there is a label that says retest is required every five years. regards, john

i think it may be a little close to chrimbo mate , cracking rifle though should think it will go though.... john -
i have one, unfortunately not working now.. it was great, the red dot always seemed to be in the middle of the torch beam whatever range you shot at.. powerful beam on the torch (for such a small one!), the switch packed in on mine and a very nice man at bsa guns managed after much digging to find me one, i fitted it and was in business again only for the bulb to go a week later john ps, anyone know where i could buy a bulb- i don't want to go pestering the nice man at BSA again as i felt such a nuisance ) .

i have around 20 rifles (some pissles too ), a few that aren't on the list, career 707-2, original (probably come under diana), sheridan silver streak (.20cal), sharps ace. i may have a few more that aren't on the list but i can't remember what i do have btw, i didn't tick the number one bore as it shows on my computer as .17 cal rather than .177 (i thought .17cal was the new rimmie cal ) john

hello spike i didn't do my stock (bought it that way), i polished the metalwork up on my buffing machine though as there was hardly any blueing left (and plenty of surface rust!!) mo did a fantastic job on his 52 though john
-
Had a feel of one a while ago when in Hull, Fitted my mitts ok Tony ahhh- that's ok then john
-
well done mo, that's a grand job :clapper: here's weihrauch hw80 of mine that's had a similar treatment to the woodwork not too sure whether to leave the metalwork as is or whether to get it re-blued.... here's my 52, love it to bits john
-
tony i hope you have long fingers, i don't have particularly small hands but i found that trigger was slightly too far from the pistol grip to be comfortable i didn't have mine for long (let a mate at work have it) john
