  1. measured her today, she is just under 20" tts
  2. Yes there is Romany, Nualas sire was a first cross bred by Doxhope, he's a good age now, Her pedigree makes interesting reading. The collie comes in through a dog called Thorn on her dam's side.
  3. The pups around 5 months old now and weighs about 30 lbs, I'm not sure what height she is as its been a few weeks since I last measured her - might have a go measuring her again tonight (its not easy to keep her still ).
  4. I like them, they have a lot of determination and stamina Nuala - I had originally thought she was straight deerhound x greyhound, but did some research on her when I decided to breed a litter from her and to my surprise found some collie there too her daughter, with a little more collie (another 8th)
  5. diggermad if its the one I think, I saw a few photos of him the other day, he is looking very well gundogbob, she's not going anywhere though at 6.30 this morning when she was howling for her breakfast I might have said otherwise
  6. We've had snow around here around 4 weeks now, so its really all Inca has known when she's been out and about. She's enjoying the snow, though probably not quite so much as her dad is She measures 18 1/2" tts now at 16 weeks and is coming along very well. A few photos of her and her parents (and a few of the plums) .. took a bit of a tumble here, but thankfully she was ok
  7. I'd go for quite a bit bigger than that.. I dont think Isla was anywhere near that height at 18 weeks, and she is 29..
  8. That pup is going to be some size fully grown CP more up to date pics of my pup, 11 weeks old now
  9. Yes she looks a lot different when wet Jeffers, she is much fitter now though than she was in the photos above - they were taken 2 weeks ago. Glad to year Ben was a good lad, it will do him good to be brought up ferreting, makes all the difference if they see it happening as a young pup Shame you didnt get any rabbits, but you can only catch whats there, and at least you didnt go home empty handed. Look forward to the photos - seen a few of his brother in the last couple of days, he has gone much lighter in colour and looks a lot like nuala
  10. thank you - the fawn dog is deer x grey, the black one is beardie x grey
  11. good photos, it makes a change to see whippets ratting rather than terriers
  12. email it to me and I'll put it up for you if you want - good luck with the ferreting trip
  13. Ive not posted recently as we havent been doing much the last couple of weeks for one reason or another, but heres a few pics from our last trip out running a few to get the dogs fitter again. Nuala's virtually back to full fitness now, though she wasn't up to normal speed in the photos below. The weather wasnt so good to us, it was that very wet weekend..... No EOD shot, I'm afraid, as we got in the car to move on to the next spot and the heavens opened, so we decided to make our way home instead - fair weather ferreters
  14. thats a fine looking dog doxhope, how tall is he? i've got a dog pup off keeps his coat and colour are very similar to his. i've heared that the're very good on the lamp. i've got a dvd of harelaw lurcher club and there's some belters on it. i hope mine turns out as good! Tis a lovely dog that one. Jeffers look forward to seeing some photos of the pup, is his coat still the same? I think he might have a thicker heavier coat than the one in the photo.. Axel's in that vid - he is related to your pup
  15. I keep plummers, but wouldn't want one crossed with a greyhound, as has already been said, they'd yip if they were onto something - but I suppose the same could be said of quite a lot of terrier type lurchers...
  16. I wondered if it was, Nuala looks so much like her in that pic
  17. So sorry, Shadow looked a lovely young dog.
