  1. The most shocking thing i have ever seen by far is my own child at 2 weeks old all wired up in a hospital bed after having a kidney removed and without sounding billy big balls iv'e seen/lived the real trainspotting world and more and seen some fecking things. But after 2 years of regular hospital visits when the surgeon told me he wouldn't be as we don't need to see each other again iv'e never felt more in the pressance of a great man,to me a all time hero who not only had the skill to do what he did but to have the bravery to cut into a new born baby...
  2. Then i'd say they can't or don't want to spend the money to come up to standard to be a breeder then, do have to say one the best scenting lurchers i have ever seen was a hancock dog who'd not miss flushing anything from sky larks to roe deer from field or woods.
  3. They weren't selling that many i'd say as i'm sure the laws concerning kennel licences say you can only have 10 dogs per staff member and unless they got about 10 folk working there it's bullshit or they've failed the requirements to be a breeding kennels..I know a puppy farm and they have around 30-40 bitches and they don't breed anything near to that number per month so feck knows how many brood bitches they had there then...
  4. £350 a pup ain't worth the bother of breeding a litter for when there's loads of breeds or x's that make more money a pup, can't see what with vets fee's,chipping, rearing, staff wages, kennel upkeep, jabs there's a lot left to take home as a wage. Also with puppies you got to pay VAT on them to the tax man as a breeder and that's a eye watery amount over the year..
  5. They taste better than all the rest do,ok the fur is a night mare and their feet do pong like nothing else, but good sport on wet ground for a runner but easy as sin on arable..Boris misses is also a vegan and so is he now..
  6. There's a fella who lives opposite me who has a garage workshop up his garden and he's a full time mechanic and he once told me he only has a land rover because he's a mechanic with ramps etc to fix it...
  7. Every where is pretty much good from St David's up to Cardigan,i lived that way a few years back and i'd just set off with a small pack along the coastal path and only ever blanked once or twice and that looking back was down to not knowing what i was doing.Just about every rock you can catch pollock, pouting, mackral and sometimes bass from and there's dogfish, bull huss and conger under your feet.Forgot about the fine wrasse you get there and a few times i'd just kick off a limpet and free line it down the side of the rocks and catch some crackers..Iv'e caught bass under the foot bridge in card
  8. We launch from the side of the river, which is just a couple of hundred yards from the sea. It's a firm short steep shingle bank and we've a break back trailer with a good winch on it so it's easy. But it's light enough and well balanced enough to be able to be pushed across a firm beach by two people and any car will tow it,were not ones for paying silly money to get into the sea so we'll give it a go anywhere really ,i have a little avon inflatable as well and i know what you mean about space and that's why we went out to work our way up to this one and the space on it without it being a big bo

My old girl has never walked out, don't know how long the longest dig has gone on as looking at a watch isn't that important but she's always stayed till dug to and some digs have lasted hours.Plummers ain't ever been digging dogs but some are dogs you can have a dig to...
  10. Many thanks FL and my pal in the back ground has a 18 foot Wilson flyer with a 75 marina on it but we just don't use it as the fishing this side of the country ain't nothing like yours and he bought it to go after cod,but with this global warming and over fishing the cod don't come to east anglia in anything of the numbers they used.Mind you the Bass that are replacing them ain't to shabby and the type of fish are the same miles out or close to shore and that's the reason we got this boat instead of using the bigger one.
  11. Brilliant and may the sun shine brightly on you both for many more years to come Phil ..
  12. Just looked and would you believe it if i said we went up there last week to see what was up there sort of thing and ask your pal if it was in the deep hole at the entrance on the corner of the bird island?.If it was (which i recon it was) it's where me and my pal moored up last week and had a couple of bass out of it,it's a good spot when the winds to much out at sea as such and were going to fish it one evening on a rising tide for some bass or thornies very soon.. Small world at times eh mate ..
  13. Not heard of Buckley creek but i'll look it up as it could be a good spot to try sometime, yeah some Bass can fight like fury (well they don't all just run around a ring with the odd jab ) but yeah some do have a good fight in them for sure. Were looking to get out next week as the winds ment to drop and the sun is due a look out and were wanting to go out a few miles to find some thornbacks, smoothhounds and what ever else fancies a squid and worm bait...
  14. Banter and a wind up went out the window a long time ago timmy as me and you well know. But instead of being a prick on all my posts just leave it till your ready to meet up and you can spout your shite then..

As young dogs the two i introduced to them were totaly fine, they'd go out ratting then drink from the same bowl as ferrets and never once did i have any problems. One was better than the other at ferreting with them as he was more laid back and if any other dog was presant he'd be over protective of the ferrets,a good few folks ferret with them and i think Katchum on here does with his lads one..
  17. When you coming out for the day fishing on the boat with us or even a day out with the terriers as he's my digging partner as well and then you can tell both of us what you think,or you just being a brave fanny from Wiltshire again?.
  18. As it goes we used that one for a while and while it was small it did really well in water we maybe should have thought about, but that's where the bass live and you got to go where the fish are...
  19. Thanks and as it goes it's your county we fish in and the first pic i'm sat on orford island..
  20. Will do and as it goes there very easy to use once you got the suss, .. will add that one went back ..
  21. Shut up prick and go polish your own clean muzzled workers...
  22. We had a baby one earlier in the year and that done really well, just wasn't big enough.
  23. Any time you want mate,as long as there's decent fish to still be caught were out at least one day a week on it ..
  24. After going through a few small boats this year, buying, doing up and selling for a profit and putting it all back in as such,me and a pal have all we need now.A cracking little boat that has a rep for being safe as houses and stable in a chop and it is,it's a Bonwitchco 400 with a yam 25 hp and a gps, fishfinder has been ordered for it but we've been out and caught a few Bass with it both trolling lures and bait fishing at anchor and we have a small drift net we tried for a sole with and bagged a couple of Bass instead, but i can live with that.Anyway here's a pic of it a pal took while i was cl
