Thanks lads and lasses for the comments, never seen a terrier that colour myself before her. She's standing at 13 1/2" and weighs in at 17lb,she's about 10 months or so old so should bulk up a bit in time but not get to much taller. Thanks also kiz for the resizing bit.

Got offered a new dog the other day from the same lines as my russell,a young tidy bitch who should do the deed when she's older. Thanks to the grand chaps who put her my way and she's a belter who's settled right in with no bother. Not the best of pics but i tried. They were full pics but this new site thing has cut them down, load of old sh*t if you ask me this new look.

Ignore that fattwat pr*ck as due to him having shite dogs and a big mouth he ain't got nothing better to do but slate the nobend that he is. Just try a few keepers who might let you tag along to clear a few cover/feed crops come the end of shooting season, pig farms are worth a try as well, good luck.

Good luck in your search but be carefull as i've seen the same done and unless the artist is either very good or knew the dog that little something that made the dog who he was may be missed in the drawing and your pal might not really like the pic if you see what i'm saying?.I'd say the bigger the pic sent the better and send a few different ones for a better view of the dog for the artist from different angles.

sore eyse after a dig very bad any suggestions
fireman replied to pats's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
Optrex is a local anasthetic(spelling?) so just makes the irritation go and don't allways cure the problem,i wouldn't even use it on myself let alone a dog who can't tell you the irritation is still there.I use Maxitrol for any slight eye problems but if it persists get to the vets, shovel is the mastitis cream called kloxerate plus as i use this cream myself on cuts and never had a cut go bad with it,even fox bites. -
At least you tried mate,i went back today to a place that i have just a field to do but will allways get a few from there and stopped and spoke to the farmer and he's got a few hedge rows he wants doing and asked if i can clear his moles off his lawn.I said yes i can shift them and he remembered some more land to ferret he's got, might even get a bit of lamping out of him as he didn't mind the dogs around his cows when i was ferreting, just got to catch them moles now and allways worth seeing them face to face.

Can see his dam in him and she's a nice enough bitch, don't know about that tail though

Very rarely seeing singles here and this week i've seen 2 leverets small rabbit sized things about so i'd say they could still be paired up here and only just finishing breeding but saying that haven't retrieved a milky doe this year and weve had a good few. Some of the fields around me also only hold hares in one part of them, big fields but your'll never see them in any other part except a couple of small areas and these are close to houses and a farm(it's not because they feel safe there though ).

Clown! Got a big red nose and silly shoes as well but thats not up for debate but wilf what is clownish in what i've said,it's true and he was happy in doing so,also the people he hunts with are so please whats your problem with it?. Bullcross666 mate there's somethings you don't ask a lady.

I was out a little while ago and we saw 16 in the first field then the next few fields each held between 18-25,last spring when they were boxing one field a 5 min walk from my house held so many chasing each other i couldn't count them properly and lost count at 30+.

Who needs anti's with folks like a few of you who seem to have to pick fault with one of the few posters of something worth reading on this section,i for one hope Steve carries on posting but when your own side snipes at you who can blame him for not doing so.As i say all his posts show how it should be done in a very proffesional manner with respect to land, dogs and quarry alike and it's what he's up to that he's posting about and not what the hunt is doing.
-
I also can see 100+ around my village and even saw a leveret the other night that was smaller than a rabbit so there even still at it here, have seen hares on ground this year they weren't on last year so it seems they've had a good breeding season in these parts.Just need a running dog now .

PLEASE don't listen to the "wish i had the balls to but i haven't" crew and keep the posts coming chaps, like you say and we ALL CAN SEE there's nothing illigal about your posts and to be honest they show how it's done with one neat hole dug,the digging tools needed and ALLWAYS a humane dispacher and not forgetting a decent dog or two in your pics. The Hunting Life seems to be a bit much for some, maybe Fluffy Bunnie Pets .com would be more there thing ffs.

Again well done both lads for putting up posts like this and ( Moo)correct me if i'm wrong but isn't this a hunting site where we talk about hunting?,RESPECT from me to both lads who show they haven't been bullied by this bollocks of a law and are proud in what there dogs and themselves do.

Again good going and those terriers don't spend a lot of time at home do they lol.

Think young Hanna might have something to say about that Donny!. On Autumn Watch the other night the presenters were on about putting your head down a badger hole to see if you can hear them snoring, was he snoring steve?.lol

Well, well, well, some on here may know most don't but i got accused of being the one who grassed them lot up to the rspca as i has just fallen out with one of their family(brother in law),the real truth is they were getting raided for robbing stuff and the old bill called them in.This i know due to another pal getting a visit from the rspca and him having a plummer terrier at his and the rspca officer spoke to him about that lot.Shane is reg'd on here as nbgdolls but hasn't been on here for ages,Dumbo on here or Dan as he's called on the wpt site and is a mod on there has been selling pups for t

First Frost Ferret and Mooch (pics)
fireman replied to wild rover's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
May do yet, most of my permission is hour and a half drive away, after over 20 years of two nights a week, getting home in early hours and having up to a 100 rabbits to skin and freeze, the novelty has worn off, especially as the years are advancing (nearly 40 ha ) the bags arent as big nowadays but now prefer to just mooch and ferret. "nearly 40" life begins at 40 mate lol,my little bitch used to do all right on the lamp and had had a few different things on it to .Long way to drive for a shine thats true and to be honest mooching was what i did most with my bitch and only lamped her 3 t -
