    Fair do's folks,but how can anyone prove beond doubt that any cat is ferrel or not?, also are not cats considered alien then and must be released every time?     Talk to them even offer maybe a days beating for them next year where they can see a shoot and get rewarded for leaving them alone,take them out ferreting or vermin shooting and tell them why we leave things alone at certain times.If a little gentle education don't work beat the brains out of them the little fecks.

    Lived the best part of 20 years in everything from a horse drawn wagon to double decker bus,fecking miss that life and still long to go back to it.A good wood burner will see you through winters and wet times,a spade to bury your shit(don't do pikie and shit in the hedge :sick: )water barrels and a few out side fire pots and pans.Go for it i'd say,can be a tough life at times but the good points well out weigh the bad.

    Thanks folks and again thanks patterdale 88 and good to hear your young lurcher did you proud tonight ,a good mix and match of terriers was used today gilly dog.A mix of pats,pat x's,a plummer,a plummer x,a beddy and a couple of little russells and not forgetting the old collie x lurcher who at over 13 years old still can do a bit.

    Had a day out with a chap(patterdale 88)and his lady for a bit of ratting,a few mates came along and between us we had a right pick and mix of terriers.We arrived and set out for the first set of holes only for one of the smokers to stop working after 30 seconds ,not usally a problem seeing as we had 2 with us but for the amount of holes there were this was a problem.Anyway we set to a muck heap and the dogs were soon marking a few holes so out with the spades and a few rats were caught to start the bag off,the lad who invited us had out 2 young pat pups who were out for the first time and th
