  1. Easiest answer is they are both s##te! Our old sunday side could beat em
  2. Have a look at the pinned item at the top of pigeon shooting. Note on there for very cheap to make home made deeks. They are ony made of card but me and a mate accounted for over 300 birds with them and a magnet over 3 weekends!!
  3. Yep second that we lost one at 5'. Last 18" of which was flint
  4. Had a Great Dane once the ex wife named him Kwestion!
  5. Got em in my back garden! They play in our walnut tree and torment me! Missus would go spare if they suddenly dissapeared There are loads south of us but they only appeared round our way over the last 5 years or so.
  6. Had a couple of bunnies on a paddock in the summer both just over 55 yds. Gun Titan Manitou in .22 and a bog standard 4 x 40 scope zeroed at 30 yds. On proper rifles I have a mate who shot a hare at 720 yds with a 22-250 (witnessed)
  7. Hi not far from you at all Just south of Huntingdon. Have used a mates rimfire but on the land I have locally there are just too many public footpaths roads etc so do all my bunnies with my air rifle, occasional shotgunning and ferreting. Have some land near you that my ferreting partner and I frequent, if you fancy a trip out with ferrets? I will have OK it with him obviously.
  8. View from above. Very basic but they do work believe me.
  9. Harry here are the pics of the decoys we used. As I said very basic but I think you just need enough to look like a 'flock' The paintwork could be 'tarted up' but these have worked for me on endless occasions. A mate did make some out of 5" half round guttering years ago and they worked as well! The white is the template once you have made a few they are just folded round and stapled at the front at the chest. Then you just paint em up and make a few wires to stop em from blowing away. They stack well and around 25 - 30 decoys takes up no more space than one full bodied plastic decoy! L
  10. Shares in any cartridge co is good mate I just got 100 quids worth LOL
  11. 260 'picked' woodies from same hide in sep sats. Not bad I recon. Count the ferals and black things plus some that landed in unpickable places I would think just short of 300!!
  12. View from above. Couldnt upload the stack pic as file too big!

  14. Will get some pics soon and post. They are not pretty but have the basice shape of a pigeon. The downside is they aint great in a lot of wet weather being card. Having said that I have no problems with em. Sure having a lot of deeks out helps but as we all know dead birds are best. We did use a magnet to get the birds close but I am sure any decoy works if they want to come in, rest is fieldcraft. I normaly replace them one for one with dead ones as the day progresses. If you want a pattern let me know will see what I can do.
  15. Glad you enjoyed the day mate. True those dove thingys are nothing quite like a magnet eh! Oh and some great shots today as well pleasure to watch you dropping em. Still waiting for Bob to collect! cant wait !! Will have to have a look for the geese at some point.
  16. Great to do the deal mate very pleased. Keep in touch eh?

  18. Sorry but have to disagree here. I took a diving bottle to Theoben to get it filled. They asked if was in test, which it was and stamped. They said they have to be careful, understandable I guess. At the time it was mentioned about buddy bottles and they told me that they also need testing.
  19. Did a swap of items with Heritage great to deal with everthing went just as it should.

  20. Many moons ago I rang Barbour and asked them the same question. From memory I sent it to them and they quoted on the required work with no obligation. Just found this link hope it helps? http://www.barbour.com/index.cfm?fuseactio...mp;ContentID=15
