    i run the mourne and the digging competition was a bit of craic for the terrier lads at the show,for anyone who thinks the ground looks easy digging come along next year and show the lads how its done.no predug ground here just walk down the field and mark the plots along the bank head and out with the gear.

    ill be the first to jump so to speak as ive thought on it since saturday i dont want to hijack anyones topic here but at the mourne lurcher and terrier next year the racing will be whippets(papers only) under 21" over 21" but under 23" and over 23" any whippet without papers will be placed in a class depending on height to the shoulder i will see how this pans out after that but hopefully it will sort the problem as best as possible for everyone thanks kieran

    not to be drawn into the bitching side of the post but the bottom line is the cheats know who they are and its a sad affair for running dogs in general when these people enter dogs they know arent whippets just to get a rosette there is over and under lurcher racing so why not enter honestly instead of cheating.as a member of the sporting whippet club and owner of a kc reg bitch that also does a bit it can be very annoying to see lurchers on the start line of the whippet racing. shows are abit of summer craic for me and i never would fall out with anyone over winning a rossette.i keep my dogs

    you mean you were entered in a pet show once, no, i entered you remember? heres a pic of that day, you were being so good and then you bit the judge fukkin pmsl, and i could'nt walk strait for days after you enterd me, your not a very gentle lover ive seen a lot but thats just wrong

    the idea for this post is not only for myself in the future but for all the other organizers on here also,i know most of them so i know they are always lookin judges for their own events

    to add how many of these so called experts have ever stepped inside the ropes .. i always found it an honour to be asked .. thats the way i seen it to mate.i was asked a few times and said no.when i was asked to do the fair last year i said no then thought to myself why not, i couldnt stand outside for ever.its like startin a show.there are those who talk about it and run them down and those that give it a go

    there has been alot of talk this week on the judging at shows in the noth and south of ireland by the members on here.as a few of you will know i run a show a few weeks ago and have done so over the last 3 years.judges are very hard to get as they know the hassle it is to stand all day and then get stick when they give their opinion.so here is the chance for all the huntinglife dog experts make yourself known on this post or message me and youll get your chance in lurchers whippets and terriers anyone who sends a message to me does it in confidence.young or old male or female i dont care let m
