    forgot to add....no more than two minutes a day training...your pups brain is very small and stimulation will turn into your frustration.........enjoy the pup while its a pup...what you do now wil pay off in adult hood.....you will make mistakes everyone does i dont care who they are.........

    It's the highs and lows of bringing a young dog on.....the worst pup I have ever owned took her till 12 months old before she showed any drive at all...she's now 4 and the best ppd iv ever worked.....don't stress and get out on your own......it will be next season before you get her sorted.....it ain't all about catching and killing lol

    She will of been around 9 1/2mth old..she had been ferreting before hand prior to the lamping and nailed 2 easy one's and during the warmer mothes i went out a few times with the scatter gun and air rifle and rimmy with a mate and she had a bit of a play and retrieved a few shot one's for me also so she knew what they where.. .. Her first time on the lamp was frustrating to say the least..running slow/loosing sight of them to name a few but i have yet to see it go plain sailing with a pup..on her first few outing's she was walked onto everything just about and the ones i thought she seen she

    If you go on my profile and look through my posts there's a thread...greyhound stud wanted.....there's a few pics of her on there.....she's had 3 yrs of bite development so she's very hard mouthed..bunnies only fit for ferrets really.....she runs the lamp very well but is out classed on short grass as I found out tonight....

    I guess this is a follow on from the one dog or a pack thread........iv had a couple of year break for one reason or another...iv bought a suluki.whip.grey pup that's 10 month old now..iv rung round and got most of my ground back..I foned a farm that always held vast numbers of rabbits we used to take atleast 50 each week..spoke to the farmer and he said very few rabbits on but over run with foxs..so I choose the Mali to have a wonder round with (and rifle) ...got there it was like water ship down..the fields were alive almost a carpet of rabbits.the Mali had a few runs but was out classed on
