    WTF.Your half breed might be a world beater mate but i wouldnt give you tuppence for any offspring ,no matter what you put it to .One offs are usually just that .If i cannot trace back 3 generations of good ,honest workers then i dont want it .Nothing stopping joe public getting a terrier from non workers ,and theres plenty about , as long as its not used to further dilute the blood of honest lines .If you stick at the digging mate and want honest workers you can rely on ,you will realize the truth of what im saying OR you will always be a messer , hoping for a worker from this and that mating

    Mange does not kill foxes ,its the secondary internal blood poisoning that sees them off from the scratching, and not the initial mange .Ive recently found 2, one of which the dogs finished off whilst on exercise ,the other dead on some tarmac .I use' advocate 'all year round and not had problems with mange since using it .

    The does seem to be increasing in body weight to previous years .Round my way anyhow .Dont get many under 40lb .Last years average was 36lb .Well done Ian and get it off to the game dealer .Trips back and fourth seem to be my life at the moment .

    I put up my fair share of dead stuff and sleep easy in spite of it .It happens ,they know it happens ,life goes on .By not displaying what one does in the name of sport or control we are admitting defeat .Scared to show the end result .f**k them and all they stand for .This is a HUNTING site and i for one will never give in to anti- probaganga .The day we cannot show the result of our skills is the day they win .     Um ,isnt that your 22.250 ? .243 for roe and muntie ,100 grain ,with now the added bonus of being able to shoot munties with the .222, 55 grain federals .

    Its my belief that they do hold territories but that they also overlap with others ,depending on the social standing of the individual .Ive seen up to eight of them racing up and down trees in obvious agression but shot some so the order was changed no doubt .

    Part of the argument is to only breed when you need replacements and not for the sake of it .Never sold a pup to a pet owner ,infact never sold a pup to anyone .Working homes or pts any surplus .Its the soft attitude by most breeders that allows surplus in lines to get outside of working lads and therefore out of your control .Its hard enough to produce top workers within the lines let alone having to chance an outcross to something you sold way back .Its ok to run on litters but how many are ruthless enough to cull any non workers ,not many .Like has been said ,no need to advertise good sto

    Ive been asked to control some roe that are making inroads into a mans profit on a market garden .The land is not the best for a .243 but with care it will be done .Went there this morning with a veiw to shoot some pigeons but he had set up a banger Anyway saw the farmer and he said that when he was setting it up this morning ,he'd seen a roe sat in the cabbages ,unphased by the comings and goings of himself .When the banger was activated it mearly looked in the direction of the sound ?.These roe are so used to people and dog walkers that its unreal .     Ditchy -Shrews are supposedly foul tasting which is why they are seen from time to time ,dead and untouched .Killed by cats no doubt .Birds of prey however ,have no sense of taste and relish them .
