  1. Out with Martin yesterday evening at his market garden where the farmer also keeps a large flock of hens for eggs .He loses a few from time to time but losses are down this year thanks to Martins efforts so a chance at of one whilst layed up for a buck was not to be missed.A fox appeared suddenly at the top left corner of a dell i was lead in .It was on the tree line and about 160 yds away i suppose so i squeaked to which it ran straight at me down the valley side and stopped at about 20 yds and game over, off the bipod ,a vixen that had cubs this year but now dry .Stayed put until last light
  2. Can she walk ,does she yelp whilst doing so,does she strain whilst passing motions and is there blood in it if so what colour .If its the second diagnosis then an infection of the uterus is the most likely which is bad news mate as antibiotics dont seem to touch infection there . If shes worth it then size has nothing to do with any treatment .PM me if preferred.
  3. Why dont you two get a room FFS.Boredom or what .Get out and do a bit then you may have something to post about ,faggots .
  4. Always a pleasure mate and some good shooting there too .

REALITY,REALITY.Whats wrong with reality ,nothing .Its what happens in life .What did you expect to see on this post. Its sad but real life can be just that .Lets not bring this site down to trying please the bunny huggers FFS .Keep it real and truthful . And how was i supposed to know that a thread titled "The only thing about cutting silage" was going to be a photo of a splattered young one......he could have had bad hayfever for all i f*****g know.....
  7. Your toned down reply is noted mate ,hopefully that will be the way to go .To answer your other question mate ,im pretty sure John is aware of the taxman as we all are ,especialy a turn over such as yours .Chill out a bit and we will all get along fine

  9. Very well put mate .There are arseholes in most forums but we do seem to have more than most .Maybe Barry wats his face might one day surprise us all with a post that ouses experience and finnese that will make us all sit up and wonder at , but it doubt that some how ,nobhead . Wow nobhead eh.................... how many nobheads (and its Knobhead by the way)do you know that owns and runs a £100m company? OK you may be a parasite on society i dont know what you do? All i ask is for John to keep it safe. For the record i shoot about a 100 deer a year but i dont video any of
  10. Out yesterday evening with the daughters boyfriend for a look around the chicken sheds .Soon as we arrived at the first place ,a fox ran from a shed only to stop on the edge of the long grass about 20 yds away and stare back at us in the truck .The trick was now to get the rifle out without spooking it which rabbit controller did perfectly from the back seat .Window down, off the wing mirror and a satifying whack of a head shot from me. Waited around here for a long time without anything showing so while there was still some daylight we had a walk around the other three fields .A buck sudde
  11. Personally im not so weak minded but thats me but good luck for the future mate .
  12. Is the chap inferring that im abusive ,derogatory or insulting ? If his sensitive ears are offended ,well tough ,f**k off to another site and let those that actually post about deer do the posting .There are purely hearsay sites such as passion for talking so join that .John may have his faults ,i dont know him or anything about him but hes not afraid to show what happens in the real world .Anyone can criticise ,its easy.Put something up so we can all share your knowledge of the sport but that wont happen will it because your afraid ,afraid of what will inevitably be written as a backlash w

  14. 2009 i CALLED the first buck of the Wiltshire rut that year on the 10th of july, not a regular occurance admitted but worth noting .Last years rut was very patchy visually at least with the majority at it at night i believe. This year will hopefully bring about a decent rut that will see a few grassed to the call.
  15. Should of been more mate ?or was it bad quality?.Pleased with that though .
  16. Trouble is ,lying down would get that shell suit dirty and the shiney trainers scuffed . You are a messer lad and always will be .Why dont you give that terrier to someone who does a bit and concentrate on whatever shiney trainer, shell suit wearers do because it ain't digging .
  17. ................you dont need any, trust me ,lol.
  18. Exactly mate but i dont dissaprove of anyone not wearing it .The world would be a poorer place if we all did the same thats for sure .
  19. Im a afraid im a cammo man with face mask ,gloves and scent block coat .Deer may be colour blind but like all prey species they are tuned to respond to forward facing eyes ,the eyes of a predator .I have stalked without all this and managed a beast but i prefer to be covered ,especially if daytime foxing .
  20. A few evenings ago i was out with Martin down at a place of his sitting out for a muntie buck /fox in a valley that can only be described as a stalkers paradise.Never been here and seen nothing and this evening was no different .Got myself to a bush i usually sit under and lost myself in the surroundings to be honest as will be revealed in a second . A roe doe ran down over just to my left ,got my wind and barked only 15 yds away ,ran down to a fence which she followed uphill a bit and dipped under to reappear on the opposite slope but much calmer.watched her for ages through the bins but got
  21. John ,i've got to hand it to you mate ,your patience with retards is amazing .Personally i would have lost it a few threads ago.Loved the vid with the dog and hare .Quality training there me thinks .Keep the vids coming but just ignore the BJ thing .
  22. Nice vids again John and showing the dog finding well.Keep them coming .
  23. Propper there mate .We've had similar but those days are sadly gone as the farmers found a pester that knows his stuff .640 our best with a bonus fox dug whilst waiting for the sheds to be pulled .Hope it keeps up for you in the future .P.s ,lurchers a must in that situation to get the sneaky long runners .
  24. I decided on a visit to a place that rarely holds a good head ,it being a main dog walking area for a nearby town but this evening i got lucky .The deer are notoriously hard to stalk as they get the runaround from anyone with the right dog if you know what i mean .I clocked a buck and doe at a good range and had plenty of time to plan a stalk as they looked content to browse the grasses in the, as yet uncut field .Crawling through waist high grass with only the occasional glimpse of your quarry is one of the things i enjoy ,the sun was shining ,butterflies flitted and the birds sang .Lowering
