    Heres a theory .Perhaps some people are more susceptible to these places than others leading them to think of "divine intervention". Ive walked and sat at the stones in Avebury near me and felt nothing ,same as Stonehenge .Churches are cold and smell damp to me and to be avoided if i can .Peace is what you make it and i guess if you are troubled anywhere is better than where the trouble is .Personally i worry about nothing ,maybe why i dont need to follow a faith for reassurance .

    To sit and be at peace with oneself is enough for me .By a river or sat on a log ,when time allows,with nothing but the birds and whatever else is stirring .This is real and factual and i have never felt the need to look beyond that or to need anything else .
