    Dont buy a Yukon mate especially the rt The pard is very good on the hawke scope I have ,shot foxes well upwards of 300 yds and not bullshitting either .Had the Yukon photon rt for two winters and wouldn’t put one on any of my rifles with the advent of the pard .I now have hawke scopes on all my rifles from the hw 100 to the .243 all with adapters for the pard .Evening shooting without it then switch to pard to do a night shift . Any nv unit is only as good as the ir that supports it so spend wisely on that ,the dragon fly is for me the very best ir there is on the pard anyway .Pity you wer

    There used to be an account of a border terrier killing one on the river Avon near me .Killed in a drain under a road after being run in by hounds . Story was attached to a mask on a pub wall near me sadly now taken over as a fecking “wine bar”. Would of liked to have a legal crack at that game ?

    Recently moved a few sheds on the chicken farm I do a bit on so gave a mate from way back a shout with his two terriers ,a Russel and a border . The first shed was moved on news years eve and we ended up with a couple over 100 rats . Second shed was yesterday morning and we did 196. Mate responded with an invite to stalk a fallow buck which I achieved first light this morning How it should be and sets the bar for this years mates list .Nice one John ,my kind of lad and puts you firmly on the ratting events list .

    Being blunt mate and blowing smoke up my arse in huge clouds ,the dogs I’m used to are rather full on and best kept calm by any means possible .Taking more than one to a dig would be unthinkable and would ruin the ambience .

    The only downfall with penicillin is too readily available therefore used too much by those who should know better .No antibiotic should be used as a prevention to an infection ,only treatment for first signs .Jabbing a dog every time it sees something vastly reduces its effectiveness when needed .

    Top answer mate .Rats either gain access to lifts via outside plants grown buildings or under lintels over badly filled foul drains and up through the cavity .Address this problem then poison the feckers or just put up with the nightly dancing on the ceilings .

    Lol your getting me wrong mate .Ive no problem with anyone trying another terrier if mine said no ,crack on and I’ll help to dig your dog out lol.What I’m saying is why take an adult dog with a pup to a dig at all when starting the pup .Id rather come home without a dig or use another elsewhere than judge a pup on its first few outings . Im very quiet on a dig mate ,preferring to listen rather than talk ,get on rather than talk shite but you don’t know me so wouldn’t know that .More learned from staying quiet from both man and dog . One thing I’m not going to do 2020 is judge anyone

    Plenty for a pup to do without it meeting anything below ground ,on the right ground that is I guess . Like it’s been said ,it’s hard to gauge what people do without being there . Personally I want my youngster calm and relaxed on its first time to ground not wound up watching ,hearing another work . I want to be concentrating on the youngster and enjoying the moment as much as the youngster is ,firsts are just that and can’t be repeated . Every single decent line I know of will self enter ,no encouragement needed but still I see the hole enders and doublers doing their bes

    The shape and type a border should be according to kennel club was based on otter attributes as you probably know Sean . I’m told otters give a very good account ,reshaping many a terriers face .
