Is it the Fjords and Iceland Cruise mate .You’ll love it mate .Take plenty of warm cloths as top deck viewing is a tad icy blast . We did the seven day cruise and tbh I was sceptical about being tied to one place but the scenery is stunning .

Heard them on dartmoor last week ,saw one in flight but the tree out back ours that has one every year has been silent thus far .Pity as it’s a tune I look forward to .Years ago it was thought the cuckoo and sparrow hawk were one and the same .

What would be the reason for our gov to cover up this though Paul . What exactly is it about these ghosts that has them worried .It’s not as if they are attacking people ,livestock in numbers or pets so what’s the big issue .The media certainly don’t have any block on reporting it which you’d think would happen if gov are that intent on stifling dna findings . Definitely bigger than mink mate .Hard to scale from pic I know but those were about 3 inches long ,3 1/2 wide .The lack of any claws hasn’t caught the eye of anyone yet though . Top one is indeed canine ,an elderly lab I followed with no apparent claws either .Sort of dispels the notion that only cat prints don’t have claw marks .

Unless someone was having a giggle ,I’ll swear they are both bonafide tracks Paul .The scale is in the footprint to the side ,both mine ,size 9 trainers . I have neither the need nor appetite to try mess with anything .

It’s a great pity in this country that nobody has the hounds to follow cat trail as that seemed the perfect chance for a follow up .

Been away on dartmoor for a while ,walking ,watching ,you know all the good things ,and did find these prints which I’m very interested in having the opinion of our very own leading foot soldier on his opinion . Certainly puts a spin on some of the posts on here previously regards tracks and tracking . Dis speak to many people on the subject ,few cranks ,few genuine people at first meeting with tails to tell but many more sceptics . Anyway heres the tracks along side a river . Part of the tracking showed direst register ,something suggested to go hand in hand with cats .

I know mate ,was waiting for that gem .Deer and otter numbers at an all time high I’m afraid .I’m apparently in a cat spotting area yet I’ve watched the same deer all winter and now going into summer coat without a single loss to predators ?unless you count me .
