  2. Well done, Do you use Subsonics with the silencer on that, Is it .22lr? We are not alout the supressors over here funny that. Good shootin though mate
  3. Thats Fantastic. How big are your staghounds mate?
  4. Once i have a light coating of rust i boil them in Logwood dye. Gives them a nice black coating and helps prevent rust. Then i heat up a pot of wax until its smoking, Imerse trap and leave for 15 secs or so until the steal heats up. then i lift it up shake off excess wax and hang to dry. You may be interested in the Speed Dip, its doing all these processes at once but i have not used it before sorry
  5. What traps you doing mate? To degrese the traps i put my new traps in the dishwasher and this cleans all the grease from the manufacturing. Then i hang my traps outside to gain a light coating pf rust. Then i dye and wax
  6. I would love to show a few people these pictures and show them how effecting trapping is when in the hands of a profesional.
  7. Indcredible stuff mate, well done. What was the majority of sets used?

  9. I see you are from down here aswell, So what about a nice bg 31' Staghound? or even a Pure Deerhound?
  10. I have 1 trad net, and i like to carry it in this little bag. Its called a Callico bag, meant to be one of those Enviromentally freindly shopping bags.
  11. The rabbits i have snared on the uphills are normally dead when i get to them.
  12. I trap rabbits in Australia with #1 footholds, and snares. I often get a location with bare ground which i cannot read the runs off. So i use foothold traps at there feeding piles with some bait around. Works really well
  13. what can i say, your real keen. Hogs can be trapped with footholds, i think MB 750 is big enough for feral pigs
  14. Im trying to get my hands on a good Fox Gland Lure, for Red Fox. Anyone can help me out?
  15. Crackin Stuff fellas, will be giving this a go for my Footholds very shortly
  16. Thats a good point mate, But what about the odd hole here and there where she is too big for a single net to cover. This is where a Poke net is such a life saver. I have missed manier rabbit in my earlier days because i didnt have a nice big net to cover the big hole. There is also the situation where rabbits down here live in ex Wombat dens, and nice big Poke Net to cover the hole is a beauty
  17. Nice one nightrunner, I like the look of those traps with the cast Jaws. How do you find the Dogless traps? Its a pitty the only approved traps in my state are teh Victor Softcatch, and the Duke Softcatch traps also the Jake trap. Ever used the Jakes? apparently they are the buz for the wild dogs
  18. He did not ask for advice, He was simply letting us know of his catch. To tell you the truth i just cannot understand the way some people function. He is running a fox snare and he thinks a peice of Bootlace with hold a very angry destressed fox, It may have but we have to take into consideration is this really fare for the Fox. As there is a definate possibility the Lace will be chewed off, leaving a locked snare around its neck Before I even picked up the wires I got in contact with Woodga and i got the advice i needed to do it properly. So the question is, Mate why on
  19. Im from Australia so do not qoute me on this, But im sure locks are illeagle on Snares in the UK, Deltor using shoe lace on a fox snare is asking for trouble. Get yourself some decent snaring equiptment and get a couple of DVD's and learn how to do it properly

  21. How come fellas? I think its a good pic, it shows the rabbit running he has is Ears up its a good pic. Next best thing to a real bunny
  22. I use Dye and Wax on my Canine Traps. I mainly trap the European Red Fox, very clever buggers and I have just started to overcome Contramination issues so the Dye and Wax gives me a nice clean trap to work with. Im getting there. Its starting to get into winter now So i will be out doing alot more trapping.
  23. Crackin lookin net mate, Im going to give it a go. Chalkie, how do you find the 5ft poke nets close, I have a couple of 5ft purse nets, but dont think they are closing up too well.
