I don’t know that source, but JoyRaining is legit for the price. Güde makes great stuff if you want something nicer.

Thanks for your feedback! Ok, I`ll consider it.

I haven't used the Magic Eagle. For reliability in cold weather, stick with known brands like Browning or Moultrie. They're worth the extra cost.

Has anyone used Beretta clothing for hunting? I'm considering their jackets and field gear and would like to know how it holds up in wet or cold conditions.

that's awesome when a 'trash fire' project just runs perfectly. A heavy .22-250 like that would be a laser beam.

Try Musto, Browning, or Beretta for extended sizes. Also check UK specialists like John Norris or USK. If still no luck, consider a custom vest from Alderney Shooting Gear. Good luck finding the right fit!

Evening all. I'm in the market for a new stalking rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor and have been looking at this 6.5 Creedmoor selection. I'm considering a Tikka T3x or perhaps a Bergara but would appreciate some real-world experience. Has anyone used either of these for deer? How do you find the accuracy and reliability?

For boar, they have an incredible sense of smell, so playing the wind is more important than any bait. Set up downwind from their trails or feeding areas. Using a bait like corn can work to bring them into a specific area, but your scent control and staying silent are what will really seal the deal.

The shrinkflation and quality drop in some big brands is really noticeable lately. Those supermarket own-brands have definitely stepped up their game and are often a better deal these days.

With the shorter days coming, I've been sorting out my high-vis gear for those early morning and late evening walks to the hide. I found some solid reflective vests and arm bands that are lightweight and do the job without getting in the way. It's made a big difference for safety on dark country lanes - https://rununited.com/accessories/reflective-gear/. Aaaand I also picked up some Fila trail shoes there. They've been great for long days in the field - comfortable with good grip. Definitely worth a look https://rununited.com/fila/! Has anyone else found any good high-vis or all-day

A Purdey Damascus 16 bore is a serious collector's piece. Its value depends entirely on condition, proof marks, and engraving. You absolutely need a certified appraiser who specializes in high-end English shotguns. Don't even guess at a price without one - it could be worth anywhere from thousands to tens of thousands.

For a foxing rifle in .22-250, a Tikka T3x Lite is a fantastic mid-priced choice. They're incredibly accurate right out of the box. Pair it with a good scope – maybe something from the Pulsar or Sightmark thermal lines for night work.

Wanted rabbit stopper 501 in .22 or a smk 78 again in .22
ChrisBaker replied to techworm's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Good luck with your search. Those older CO2 rifles can be harder to find, but they sometimes pop up on used airgun forums and auction sites. Hope you find one in good condition. -
That sounds like a well-organized hunt in a promising area. The all-inclusive price for a brown bear, especially with no trophy fee, is very competitive. Good luck with filling the tag, it should be an incredible experience.

That unusual "paper clip" spring is likely the main issue. A common fix is to replace it with an aftermarket spring kit from a company like YoDave or Rifle Basix. They are inexpensive, easy to install, and will give you a much lighter and cleaner pull without replacing the whole trigger unit.

Looking for US outdoor retailer recommendations
ChrisBaker replied to ChrisBaker's topic in Shooting Equipment & Accessories
Wanted to add that I recently ordered from a stateside outdoor sports store and was impressed. They stock a good range of optics and blades, and their customer service team was really responsive when I asked about export compliance. No hidden fees or customs surprises, which was a plus. Think they mights be good/ -
The value really depends on the brands, rarity, and condition of the pellets. Common modern tins usually sell for a few pounds each, but older or specialty ones might be worth more to collectors. I’d recommend posting photos and a full list of brands/quantities on airgun-specific forums like Airgun Nation or UK Airgun Forum. Alternatively, try listing them as a lot on eBay with a starting bid based on the total weight or tin count.

Logan s16 strip down guide
ChrisBaker replied to AndyD89's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Check the Airguns Forum or Gateway to Airguns (GTA) for Logan S16 strip-down guides. YouTube also has helpful video tutorials. The leak is likely a simple O-ring replacement. Just be sure to degas the rifle fully before starting. -
I'm researching some upgrades for my shooting and hunting gear, particularly knives and optics. I'm looking for recommendations for larger US-based outdoor retailers that offer international shipping to the UK. I'd appreciate hearing about your experiences with any stores you've used - both good and bad. Specifically wondering about selection of major brands, reliability of international shipping, and how they handle customer service inquiries.

nice suprise for christmas
ChrisBaker replied to .357shooter's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
Congratulations on the win! That’s an impressive performance, especially under timed pressure. The rapid-fire stages sound intense, and it’s great to hear your style paid off. The Tippmann is a solid choice for these drills - have you made any modifications to it for competition? Also, the compliment about your practicality in field scenarios like South African hunting is well-earned. Keep us posted on your next matches! -
Had an amazing day on the clover fields in this heat - the birds were really working the pattern well. Finally got the decoy spread right with minimal movement and lighter shells that don't look out of place in the summer sunlight. I've been upgrading my warm-weather gear and found this fantastic Outdoor sports store that specializes in hunting equipment. Their summer selection is impressive - got a new breathable hide net and some moisture-wicking clothing that made all the difference yesterday. Really appreciate finding a specialized shop that understands warm-weather hunting n

Absolute scumbags. Sorry to hear that, mate. Glad you at least got the one back.

This sounds like an incredible and ethical way to contribute directly to rhino conservation. Getting that close to such a magnificent animal while aiding its protection must be a powerful experience. Well done on creating this initiative. I've shared your post to help spread the word.

I'm finalizing plans for a long-range training session and keep hearing mixed reviews about Gritr Range. While their advertised 1200-yard lanes and tactical bays look ideal for testing my new chassis system, I'd value real user experiences before making the trip. For those who've visited: How's the actual target setup beyond the advertised distances? I've had issues at other ranges where terrain limits the usable yardage despite claims. Their website mentions electronic scoring - does this include detailed feedback like shot timings or just basic impact detection? Also curious about

What Is The Law On Wildfowling In Scotland
ChrisBaker replied to crossy terrier lad's topic in Wildfowling
That’s correct about Udal law! It’s a Norse-derived customary law still recognized in parts of Scotland’s Northern Isles (Orkney and Shetland). Unlike mainland Scotland, where the Crown typically owns the foreshore, Udal law grants these rights to private landowners. It’s fascinating how this medieval system persists – especially in disputes over fishing rights or coastal development. A 2018 case (Shetland Salmon Ltd v. Crown Estate Scotland) even reaffirmed its validity. Worth noting, though, that modern Scottish legislation sometimes overrides it, so local advice is key for land-use pla
