I remember during covid, we went to Scotland fishing. Afterwards we went in a little bar and tried to order a pint. It was a tiny thin bar with nobody more than 4 yards from the bar and bar man. The barman says ' can't serve you as you have no mask on'. I points to a bloke sat at the bar drinking with no mask and asks about him... 'yeah but he's been served and is sat down'. Absolute fckin retards.

Even if there was 30 Cameronite Tories.....you still need 200 new MPs and a 1000 new councillors. To get them up there, trained, tested, the unsuitable ones weeded out you need to actually win, to be funded and guided. It doesn't just happen on the back of tweets and social media posts. We still have to get the European court of human rights out of our hair and loads of laws repealed....all without the 'markets' crashing the economy and doubling people's mortgages. My personal prediction for the next general election is a labour/ green coalition. They are actually the minority, 'we' are the majority. But we got to learn to play that game to get as many of 'our' side in to positions of power as possible. And by 'our' I mean as many as are not far left pro migration as possible. Some might be middle of the road, some centrist, some even black or moderate Muslims or other ethnics. Come and have a couple of days over here next season. I'll try and find you two days back to back with the fell hounds. Or September in the west country, you could probably do two meets a day in September, morning and evening. My aim is to do foxhounds morning and evening and a visit to staghounds in between

My choices if st Peter sends me back for one more day of my choosing... New forest hounds hunting fox in the big woodlands Hunting roe deer with a full pack But if I could have one thing back it would be one more morning with the Pennine hounds on the edge of the local moors on the rocks. Rattle a couple of cubs around early season, a mark, a dig and the mixed smell of crushed bracken, wet hounds and fox and a sip of whiskey from my hip flask.....but most of all the people who were there but are no longer with us. Just one more morning with those once familiar faces.
