A friend of mine who has a large kennel of trialing labs and other working dogs gets worm counts done. He send a shit sample once a year. Only once in 7 years did they come back with a positive sample for worms.

Yes it's like a downrigger for fishing at extreme depth. Your actually using a handline, the rod just holds it away from the boat. I went out char fishing in summer and caught about 8. I gave them to my brother to BBQ for us and he did 7 of them on a day we couldn't go! So I've still not tried em! But he still has one in the freezer. Apparently they are fantastic eating

She's too young really, I'd planned to only let her pick some nice easy dead birds this season but we keep finding ourselves short of pickers up and beaters as they take it in turns to be off ill, so the young dog has been pressed into work! She's done fantastic, picking runners and even did a full days beating last week (not what I wanted for a retriever). Hopefully give her a simple day tomorrow then spend some more time training.

I always saw it as a very pagan symbol so didn't expect to see it on a Christian gravestone....though it is on a Celtic Cross. The grave yard has a few graves with Masonic symbols on them as well
