Caught this little pigeon in the center of the local town. Had to fight off some mad karens who decided they were animal saviours and I was obviously a cruel evil pigeon torturer. I'll probably be on Facebook pages later "have you seen this dog fighter catching pigeons for bait, please share" Anyway I phoned the number on the ring and it's from Bristol. They are driving to pick it up in the morning.....6.5 hr round trip

Didn't get much work done today, set off and then noticed I had bald tyres so had to go and get 4 new ones fitted. Then it was home to pick up the dog and gun as id had an offer of an evening flight from @Blackmag. After driving to his chosen spot we stood talking in the corner of a field waiting for evening to come on he happened to mention that he'd seen signs of an otter. 10 minutes later I saw a patterdale terrier with a funny type of run that was coming right across the field towards us.
